Summary: i found the game very good with great graphics, especially love the undead horses what spoils it for me is the controls, when ever you are hand to hand fighting your character always ducks due to the L3 button being the duck button i always seem to press down on the controller when fighting,do you really need a duck button on this game and if so why did it have to be L3 i had same problem with dead island its a very annoying button and for me totally spoils the game...
Summary: Red Dead UN or rather (Undead Nightmare) is an interesting but overall lacking expansion pack, the story starts off with the main character in the last game - John Marston, finding himself in a world of zombies - Sure I love blowing zombies heads to pieces as much as the next person but the game seems to have you perform tasks that are overall the same in every-way, such as resucing towns and saving villagers (Which requires you running around for a good 10 or so minutes...
Pros: Lots of guts (For all you, that like that sort of thing in a game.) Zombie Hordes, Free-world
Summary: I enjoy very much the game at the begining but the end is very dissapointing there is no end at all :( and i love games of zombies but this i didint' like the story, the graphics are very good but the history is so bad doesnt' make any sense.
Red Dead Redemption - Undead Nightmare (PS3): Cowboys vs zombies in Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare
3 May 2011
Summary: (This review written by me and also posted on Freeola and ciao.co.uk) Initially an expansion pack for Red Dead Redemption, Undead Nightmare has been released as a stand alone disc, so you can indulge in all sorts of cowboys vs zombies shenanigans without owning the original. One of the producers of Undead Nightmare stated that the game was what you might get if you took the set of a cowboy movie and used it to film a zombie film.
Pros: It's got zombies in it. The main story missions are great fun.
Cons: You need to play the original to know who some characters are. Town rescue missions are samey.
Summary: I bought this game after loving the original and looking for a good zombie game. The initial gameplay was good. Then it became exciting. Then I just got bored. The survival mentality just wasn't there; I wanted to feel excited and pursued but the truth is you don't even have to hide away on the roof for respite, you can just jump on a horse. The game became repetative and laborious, constantly saving outposts and survivors for ammo you often dont need.
