Likely the last Rockstar game I will buy

D. Krzewinski, Amazon
22 December 2014
  • Summary: Let me start by saying I am a fan of the "weird western" genre, which this game fits into perfectly. Typically this genre consists of western and occult genres mixed, but I love zombies too, so I figured those two would make a great mash up also. Well, the idea is fine, but the execution is so-so.

Disappointing

Ayush Kishore, Amazon
15 December 2013
  • Summary: First of all, I LOVED the first Red Dead Redemption. I was pulled into the story, the landscape, and I really got attached to the characters. That being said, Undead Redemption is NOTHING like the first installment of this series. The storyline and missions are repetitive and un-imaginative.

  • Pros: Excellent game, were it not for the freezing and many, many glitches.
  • Cons: Freezes every 5 minutes, requiring a restart of the system, (only on Ps3), Many glitches including clipping issues, NPCs and player floating in mid-air, rare audio cut-outs, no patches to fix these things, no possible fix. AVOID PS3 VERSION. GET XBOX.

fun but be aware of glitches

William G. Hoppes, Amazon
3 February 2012
  • Summary: Really enjoyed Red Dead Redemption so downloaded this DLC. Very enjoyable game but in about 6 hrs of game time it has frozen four times. I played all the way through Red Dead Redemption and it only froze once or twice. Since you can't save whenever you want this can result in lost game time.

A let down

Green Bird, Amazon
5 August 2011
  • Summary: While its clear that a lot of thought and effort have been put into this game, this are some very serious problems with it. Almost all of the missions in the game are preceded by 3-4 minutes of having to ride to a location more slowly then you could on your own because you have to be escorted by...

  • Summary: This game in my opinion is repetetive, and after a while it gets boring, the blood and gore is amazing, the new creatures and weapons are fun, but this game is not a play again game this game to me is a game to play every then and again to mix things up, the story is intresting but you run all over...

I'm Unforgiven

triangletown, Amazon
10 February 2011
  • Summary: First, I think it should be said that the primary reason to write reviews here is for potential buyers. If you think Red Dead is a five star game, it's not your money that's being spent, that's gone: it's whoever is reading this to make a knowledgeable purchase.

User Review

TuesdayS., Metacritic
18 May 2010
  • Summary: This game was an utter disappointment. After loving Red Dead Revolver, I knew this game would be so great - I didn't grow skeptical until I saw that it was made by Rockstar. The controls are absolutely terrible from the start.

sorry it's boring

David Thorne, Amazon
25 August 2010
  • Summary: Ilove westerns and wish this game was a little more adult style. It's more like a kids style with very little to do.
