Summary: Let me start by saying I am a fan of the "weird western" genre, which this game fits into perfectly. Typically this genre consists of western and occult genres mixed, but I love zombies too, so I figured those two would make a great mash up also. Well, the idea is fine, but the execution is so-so. The game world is huge, and you'd better get on your horse to go from one town to another, because the distances between are pretty far.
Summary: While its clear that a lot of thought and effort have been put into this game, this are some very serious problems with it. Almost all of the missions in the game are preceded by 3-4 minutes of having to ride to a location more slowly then you could on your own because you have to be escorted by NPCs who won't travel nearly as fast as you can.
Summary: This game in my opinion is repetetive, and after a while it gets boring, the blood and gore is amazing, the new creatures and weapons are fun, but this game is not a play again game this game to me is a game to play every then and again to mix things up, the story is intresting but you run all over the map doing so many things that do not add up to the story in my opinion. so I would recommend the game as being fun, but not for the price of 20+ dollars.
Summary: First of all, I LOVED the first Red Dead Redemption. I was pulled into the story, the landscape, and I really got attached to the characters. That being said, Undead Redemption is NOTHING like the first installment of this series. The storyline and missions are repetitive and un-imaginative. There is also not much you can do outside of missions aside from killing random zombies. There are no mini-games.
Summary: Hi! The game is ok.. but i dont like it because the online gaming mode (the most important for me!) is too dam hard... You start playing the game and u get always killed with headshots... its really boring... after a while u get really tired of it... I have read about this and it seems that if u train a lot with ur PS3 controller you will be able to perform a headshot kill by moving the analog botton a litle bit up before shooting...
Summary: One of my initial thoughts when playing Red Dead Redemption for the first time was that it looked beautiful. And it does. However, when I began to move my character I was immediately disappointed. One thing Rockstar cannot do well is smooth character movement and responsive controls. Play any other decent third-person game and you'll know what I mean. I had hoped that after GTA:IV Rockstar would have made control improvements a priority, but alas it was not to be.
Summary: When I saw the footage of this, i was put off instantly, Rockstar, or at
any rate free-roaming games have a tendency to get VERY boring after you have
completed the campaign.
sure you can go and explore find other towns and do side missions, but while
something like a knife rhythm game might sound interesting, it was just a mask
for “Press these buttons at the right time”.
Summary: While this game has amazing physics and map developments, it has its ups and
downs. single player story is great. and very strong so it will touch you. but
other than that the game was a disappointment to me. many things are lacking, many people most people would enjoy, you cannot
drive the trains, you cannot ride anything other than a horse either, or a
donkey. the rockstar we know would let us ride the bears for all they care.
Excerpt: Found this game quite boring. I think you really need to be a fan of wild west stuff to really enjoy this. After a few hours I felt I'd seen everything it had to offer, and just didn't feel like continuing to play.
