My son got this for his Bday
19 August 2013
Summary: My son wanted this for his birthday this year so when he got an amazon gift card he used the money to purchase this game. As far as I know he enjoys it enough to keep playing it and it has been at least six months. I can not speak to how easy or interesting the game is myself because I have not watched him play it. He is 20 and so I do not have to monitor his games and movies any more like I would a child.
Summary: Well if you haven't played the original you might not know what your getting yourself into like some of the other people who wrote a review for this game. This is a hardcore strategy rpg where the story spands multiple generations of main characters based on which female counter part you chose. The gameplay is solid and the story is there but I guess some can't see beyond the fact that the voices are not in english.
Summary: I basically love everything by this developer including any recycled mechanics and the implication that you will need to replay the game to get the true end. I prefer cross edge honestly, but overall this is a solid game. I am dissapointed that they did not add more from the first game, and the battle system gets repetitive if you overlevel.
Summary: I like the nice bundle. Especially the box to put the playing and skill cards in. Also since the first game is hard in my opinion, I appreciate the Character Data Guide that helps you set up which character to use in your party. Record of Agarest War Zero is a prequel so the first game knowledge is not necessary (I heard if you beat the game, you can unlock the digest version of the first game). It is an SRPG as well as a light dating sim.
