these games keep getting shorter and more contrived

Summary: when i played this i really wanted to love it, i love all ratchet and clank games but i just do not feel that this one is heading in the right direction all of them have been short but this one is so very short i beat it the first day i had it the weapons were not that good either a lot of the weapons had mew wanting something more, i wish they would use some of the really good old ones but basically everything in this game follows the same pattern.
Summary: I am a casual gamer, having played and enjoyed all the previous Ratchet games for the PS2. "Tools of Destruction" and "Crack in Time" were the 1st games I bought for the PS3 we got for Christmas this year. I was not disappointed with "Tools of Destruction", great game. I can't say the same about "Crack in Time". The main problem I had was the Clank episodes. They were frustrating, tedious and boring.
is fine enough but the series is running out of ideas

Summary: The graphics are just great, so no complaints there whatsoever. This time the game feels a bit short and it is way too easy on the first play through. The Clank levels are great to look at but tedious -- I have to confess I didnt enjoy them at all. I might have had a different opinion if I could increase the difficulty level but you cannot. You have to play once and then play again from the start. Bottom line -- Wait for a budget price before you buy.
Summary: WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS Pros: - Amazing cut scenes - Fantastic gameplay - Great new space system - Interesting story - Time paradox's were cool Cons: - Many characters excluded, including Talwyn, Cronk, and Zephyr - Not enough planets, too many moons - Extremely short challenge mode once you've gotten all of the zoni, gold bolts, weapon mods, and RYNO holo-plans(as moons are dedicated to one or two of these items, and once you've gotten them they carry over to challenge...
Summary: I've played every previous Ratchet & Clank game to 100% completion (except the PSP games). This is my favorite video game series of all time other than the Zelda series. A Crack in Time just doesn't measure up to previous R&C games. 1. I beat the game in 11 hours on Medium - that's crazy! Not enough gameplay. I couldn't believe how few planets there were. The moons just don't count as unique gameplay and are more like mini-games. 2.
Summary: As someone who has played every Ratchet & Clank game (except for the PSP games) and loved them all, I was quite disappointed by this latest game. -Is it bad? Definitely not! The voice crew, plot, and dialogue are all, as usual, top notch. -Is it not fun to play? Again, definitely not! The game is short, but is thoroughly enjoyable throughout. -Is it ugly? Nope, absolutely beautiful in 1080P. -Are the controls difficult? As usual, they're amazing.
Summary: This game is ok. Honestly Tools of Destruction and Going Commando are the best ones in this series. Crack in time honestly didn't like the story, there were tons of slow annoying tasks in the game and overall it didn't work. It's not a bad game and for $20 it's a good deal. But if you haven't played Ratchet and Clank get the PS3 Compilation pack for games 1-3 then Tools of Destruction next.
Summary: My son and I are huge fans of Ratchet and Clank so I naturally looked forward to getting my hands on what is said to be the last game in the series. Whilst we played the other Ratchet and Clank titles until our fingers were sore, a Crack in Time became boring and tedious far too quickly. The graphics are as good as ever but the gaming style has departed from the hugely successful formula that made Ratchet and Clank so popular.
