An unfortunate Change of Pace for the Ratchet and Clank Series

Summary: This is the 4th Ratchet and Clank game released for the PS3 (and 8th in the series, not counting the PSP games). It represents a redesign for the franchise, but unfortunately it isn't an entirely successful one. I'm coming at this review as an adult fan of the series (no children) who does not play multiplayer games all that much (I did not attempt the co-op mode). The biggest problem I had with the game is the design itself.
Summary: This is a good new game but not there best work it pushes you in direction you cant go back to find more goodies Thur a lot of this game you cam only walk sideways it also seemed to be short sorry guys lets see what the next one is like
Summary: I played my first PS3 game, Ratchet & Clank Future-A Crack in Time, at a very "mature" age and I was hooked. I have since ordered every R&C game I could get my hands on and looked foward to the All 4 One release. I usually only play as single player unless my grandchildren are visiting and I'm afraid that compared to the previous R&C games, I was somewhat disappointed in this one.
Summary: I purchased this as a Christmas present to myself. It was so much cheaper online than in brick and mortar stores that I let myself get it after the rush of Christmas was over. I LOVE all the Ratchet and Clank games and I have all of them. This seems like it was put together by the marketing department and the people that made all those other great R&C games were on vacation. There is nothing new and original here, as far as the game story.
Summary: Overall, we think that this game is fun. It was a great Christmas present. If you have played other R&C games, there are some definite minuses. There are fewer save points, you do not have control of the view that you see, and there is not much of a storyline. The pluses are the fact that more than one player can play (up to 4 people with 4 separate game controllers), and some of the new, inventive weapons. We enjoyed playing it, but it's not worth the full price.
PS3 - Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One - PlayStation 3 - By Sony Computer Entertainment

Summary: Great idea to have up to 4 person play together and the worlds available to explore are creative but disappointed with game format. Not 3 demensional as with previous Rachet and Clank games, camera angle not adjustable. Nitendo/Atari type era gaming at its best.
Summary: Probably one of my least favorite in the R&C series... right up there with secret agent clank. I am not a fan of the bad camera angles and lack of the weapon transformations. Now the guns just stay the same and you have to get bolt to make them better. Also it would have been nice to swap charters while playing maybe have some challenges only quark could do or only clank. I was very excited for this game only too be let down.
Summary: Traditional Ratchet and Clank games feature exploration, crazy weaponry, wacky humor, tons of stuff to blow up, crazy boss battles, and returns to previous areas for secrets and hidden gold bolts. It almost seems All 4 One is was made by a different developer. Older entries in the series delighted fans with space battles, races, vehicles, and branching paths in the level design.
