SkyDrift

Destructoid
2 September 2013
  • Summary: SkyDrift is one of those games that just feels like it belongs in an arcade with an extravagant, ground-shaking cabinet. Instead, developer Digital Reality took a more financially responsible route by tossing it up on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. I'm of the belief that there aren't enough aerial combat games being made today. Make no mistake, SkyDrift is a racing title first and foremost -- but it does delve into dogfights ever so slightly.

Ratchet & Clank All 4 One

Family Friendly Gaming
2 February 2013
  • Excerpt: Sony is one of those companies who will try different things. I was not sold on Ratchet & Clank All 4 One when I was playing the demo. However I have gotten some quality time with this Playstation 3 (PS3) game, and found some fascinating things. There is an offline mode, and I am pleased as punch. My guess is Sony read my preview and acted upon it.

Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One review

GamesRadar
24 June 2012
  • Excerpt: Ready for another adventure with a certain Lombax and his robotic best friend? Insomniac’s next title in the R&C series: Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One takes on a different perspective, giving gamers a chance to play with up to four other teammates. With a new main co-op feature that utilizes collaboration on puzzles, wacky weapons and different playable characters for once, All 4 One casts a wider net than other co-op games this fall.
  • Pros: More quirky weapons, Co-op gameplay and teamwork, Catching chubby critters
  • Cons: Non-engaging story, Lack of character development, Repeated puzzles

Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One

Fragland
10 June 2012
  • Excerpt: Insomniac have had a very busy 2011. Between the release of the excellent Resistance 3 and the development of their upcoming action game Overstrike, the Californian developers somehow found the time to put together Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One, a 4-player co-op platforming game. Almost like an afterthought and, unfortunately, it shows at times.

Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One

Game Over Online
10 January 2012
  • Excerpt: Having never played any of the Ratchet and Clank series, I really wasn't sure what to expect with the latest installment entitled Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One . All I really knew about the franchise was that the main protagonist has big ears, a robot buddy, and a penchant for over-the-top weaponry. Regarded as an action platformer with a crazy armory, the good people at Insomniac Games took the reins and gave it a co-op focus.

  • Cons: -Bad camera system, -Unbalanced difficulty curve, -AI can be a bit dumb

Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One

Strategy Informer
4 December 2011
  • Conclusion: All of this being said, the charm, wit and core Ratchet experience that fans have been in love with since the PS2 days has been given a co-op overhaul extremely well by Insomniac. It doesn't achieve the rollarcoaster pace of the main series, or feel as polished, but Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One is a worthwhile excuse to get together with a group of mates and cause havoc as some of your favourite characters.
