Summary: I HATE that you have to yank the controller like you would a Wii controller... I do not know the term used for that. I did not see anything written that you would have to flail your arms around. That sucks! I just could not enjoy the game and my kids are not interested... guess it will collect dust.
Summary: This game was purchased because I enjoyed Rapala Pro Fishing on the PS2. One would assume that the new game would be an improvement over the old. That is not the case here, this game was developed for a quick buck in a empty market. The developers of this game and Activision should be ashamed of this product. I will carefully examine the reviews prior to any further Activision purchases.
Summary: This game has ridiculous controls and it is the same repetitive functions over and over. The graphics are pretty neat but the fishing is the same... Lack of boating controls, difficult to use the trolling motor. I returned it, definitely not recommended. May try another Rapala game in the future but the lack of bait and all lures seem to drag the bottom. The ability to fight the fish when you're reeling is nice but it seems to be really unrealistic.
Summary: I recently purchased the game and was very disappointed. From the beginning I was reluctant to play the game because I found out quickly that I already own this game. Anyone who has Cabelas Monster Bass for PS2 will not like this game. IT IS THE EXACT SAME GAME!! Same lakes, same tournaments, same same same!! The only thing that was different is that since Rapala made this one, the lures were given the Rapala trademark names.
