Summary: I love strategy war games, the problem with this game is the time allowed in each battle, it would be fantastic if there was no time limit just one side winning or losing. I mean a half hour goes by in a one hour max game and your just getting your offenseive strike moving, I guess you have to be very quick. The Ruse is kinda cool and the battles are good the sound and the units but its just the time that kills this game!
Summary: I'm not hugely into RTS games, but this one caught my eye because it was Move compatible. The demo for it was amazing - it felt like the game of Risk and Chess rolled into one (and, maybe that's what later missions are like...). I ordered the game, and I was hugely disappointed. The campaign starts off with tutorial missions, which is alright.
Excerpt: Having really discovered the joy of computer games in the mid to late 90’s, I have always had a bit of a passion for War Strategy games. Of course when you consider I was playing games when the likes of Command and Conquer were all the rage then it’s hardly surprising that I’ve got a passion for war strategy games. So when I spotted RUSE on the PS3, I thought it would be the kind of game that I would really enjoy.
Pros: Good concept
Cons: Poor graphics, gameplay and too many cut scenes
Excerpt: R.U.S.E is a WW2 real-time strategy game which puts you in control of the battlefield. Focusing on information warfare, you can use a number of ‘ruses’ and decoys to influence the outcome of the battle to your favour. Story R.U.S.E.’s story line takes place during World War 2 and you follow the view point of Joseph Sheridan of the US Army. Now the story line isn’t very engaging and I felt that the game was almost trying to be like a film in a way.
Pros: Gameplay makes you think hard and something makes you go back and restart the mission
Cons: Story line, orders breakup the gameplay mid action

Summary: R.U.S.E - Move Compatible (PS3) First off, i love RTS games, and am a big history nerd as well, so i thought from the promo screenshots that this game would be incredible. I pre-ordered it from amazon and it arrived the day after release, (yay amazon) anyway i started playing this game, and immediately i found it a little too simplistic, im accustomed to Rome, Medieval and Empire total war, where it gets very technical, i found this game to be very similar to Sid Meiers...
