Summary: We purchased this for our son. It is an okay game and he does play it time to time. I can't say it's one of this favorites, but if your looking for a game for someone who likes driving games, it's okay.
Summary: When Pure first came out it was a great game for it's time, but a few years later and the game does feel a bit dated. The difference between a good game and a great game is whether or not you can pick it up after 5 years and still view it as modern.
Summary: This game disappointed me greatly. Unlike the AVT ORF games, it has no freeride. But it does have good graphics and a very wide selection of vehicle parts and that but it got boring for me after about 2 or 3 hours. Now if your really into racing games then i wouldnt entirely follow my opinoin of the game because im more of an action kinda guy, But im just saying that this game didnt meet my standerds as a fourwheeler racing game.
Summary: Its just another shooter. There are a number of storyline sections you cannot bypass, which is annoying. Nothing really amazing about this game. You dont really care about the cause you are fighting for, and the NPC characters are blah. Vehicles are always a plus, but BF3 would be better. Its ok, but thats about it. Wait for it to go on sale.
Pros: Nothing really
Cons: Same ol game play. Small play area with long load times.
Summary: After playing countless FPS and RPG type games. I also came away from this game some what disappointed. Yes Bathesda was behind it just like the great Fallout 3 and New Vegas. But to me it seems like they dumb down the game play. Made it easier for players with no actual hard decisions on what to pick up, what to keep, what to sell, what to make, what gun/bullets you will need. The same old type of quests and boring repetitive things really ruined it for me.
Summary: I was thoroughly stoked to try this game considering the minds behind Doom and Quake were behind it but I have to say, I came away disappointed. The graphics and audio are surely some of the best in any game I've ever played but I have to say the story is boring. All you is go around doing chores for people with no real purpose. When you're actually shooting stuff it looks awesome but there should be some reason why you're doing it.
Summary: Rage has it moments but offered nothing exceptional in my opinion. Graphics are clear and have some great effects however to many of the textures continue to load as you look around and it degrades on the experience. It is hard to unsee once it's noticed. Multiplayer is somewhat limited and becomes linear with only a few players per battle. Sound is great and facial and human elements look fantastic.
Summary: consider this game a challenge with fallout 3 like wastelands and a doom like mission base. the game is really hard on normal so i cant imagine on hard always stock up on ammo do yourself a favor and bandages do work. dont forget to hit vs shoot sometimes too it can be better.
Pros: doesnt leave you wondering what you have to do
Cons: missions can be near impossible if you dont stock up
