Summary: I can't believe it, truly the King id dead. It's awful this year. Here are the low points: * No realism in the player movements, they turn without any reference to reality, turning 180 degrees in a heartbeat.
Summary: My allegiance has been Pro-Evo since ISS Soccer many moons ago, but I found myself torn this time around. Loyalty made me choose this again, but I'm disappointed. Beome a legend is quite boring for too long and the computer's AI is awful e.g.
Summary: Reasons to be happy 1) Cool intro 2) Better graphics 3) More realistic playability (almost) Reasons to be miserable: 1) Horrible music 2 The ball travels to slow 3) A number of players are not playing for the right team.
Summary: After playing the demo i was extremely disappointed, but i thought id wait for the full game. firstly the main menu has had a complete change, and as a overall synopsis, thats the most they have changed since they have moved onto the next gen consoles.
Summary: This is my first review for Metacritic. But as someone who has now played both Fifa and PES 09's, Konami should be ashamed of this mess. The players move jerky, and just completely unrealistic and unnatural. The game also has pitiful extra's compared to Fifa09.
Summary: Just tried the demo, granted its the demo but this years appears to be the worst yet. Since moving to the 360/ps3 the franchise has been on the downslope and from the visuals and AI to the sound effects and ball physics it only gets worse this year.
Excerpt: Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 is the second instalment of the long-running football simulator on the PlayStation 3. The key change in this instalment is the gameplay and the introduction of the new TeamVision system which incorporates much better AI from your team-mates.
Excerpt: I generally prefer the PES games to FIFA ones, but after the calamity that was PES2008, I wasn't so sure, but sadly, PES2009 mostly confirms my fear that the PES series has gone down the pan, and FIFA really is the way to go from here on in.
Excerpt: Im a massive Pro Evo fan and couldn't wait to get the ltest version off the shelves. Pro Evo 2008 was great. I mastered the game completely to the point where 5 stars was way too easy! In my opinion this game only needed tweaking in certain areas to improve it.
Pros: Great to play online, more technical
Cons: Gameplay slower, too mechanical in player movement .
Excerpt: Good all round footy game. A must for footy fans! Especially if you are not a Fifa fan. They no longer have the master league, wish is disappointing, as you can not create your own team. However they have the become a legend option now which is not too bad, takes a little time to get used to.
Pros: As all pro evo games playability is the best
