Summary: I own a PS3 and have both FIFA 2008 and PES 2008. After having played both for a while I find FIFA is better by far. The movement of the players is much realistic in FIFA while it realy bothers me to have to edit the team names and player names in PES to match the real ones.
Excerpt: This version has been a real step back for the series despite being the first on the next gen consoles. There are so many bugs to start off with in the game it is shocking. For a next gen game you certainly expect a real top experience but this game is anything but, the visuls are decent but really...
Summary: Well i had been eagerly awaiting the release of pro evo. for long time as i have never been the biggest fan of fifa but i never thought i would say it, but it seems they have a taken a step back in development. it seems that they would just release a version that would sell on reputation alone.
Summary: Pro Evo has always been the superior game to Fifa. Gamers have always said 'people who know anything about football buy Pro Evo'. Which has been true. However this version has taken the step towards realism one notch too far. I find this game far more frustrating than fun.
Summary: Having been away from games consoles for years and then recently invested in the PS3 I thought I should look around for a football game. At the time it was a toss up between Fifa '08 and PES '08.
Summary: The game plays well and is an improvement over PES6, however once past the initial impressions of better graphics and new layout what you really notice is the things that are missing and things which don't work very well. PES 2008 only has 15 stadiums in it, where did all the rest go?
Summary: Must say I thought that PES 8 would beat any other football game by far. I was completely wrong infact I believe they have ripped me of £50 which I spent on the PS3 version. This game runs like it's only half way developed.
Summary: The great thing about Pro Evolution has been its incredible addictive qualities, the realism and online-play. This game is by far the shabbiest of releases I have witnessed a developer release on retail.
Summary: I was a great fan of the previous game on PS2 and having bought a PS3 couldn't wait to buy this. What a let down! Very slow, rubbish graphics and players are either spot on or unrecognisable to look at.
