Had a little fun with it with a few friends one night

skinnykennyp, Amazon
4 November 2014
  • Summary: This was a misinformed purchase as I had confused it with Rocksmith. Purchased Rocksmith right after, and the guitar doesn't even work with it. Had a little fun with it with a few friends one night, but haven't played it since.

Not possible to play full game on an up-to-date Xbox 360

cmdrkeen2, Ebay
5 August 2013
  • Summary: The current Xbox 360 update messes up the controller recognition, so it is unable to recognize that you have the SixString guitar... the game thinks that you have a Guitar Hero guitar or something.

Disapointing

susanjean, Amazon
12 July 2011
  • Summary: I bought this game for my husband so he could learn how to play the guitar, however it is just to learn how to play other games such as guitar hero... nice guitar and ok to pass time, but not what it promised..

Seller Great, Game Sucks

19damien88, Ebay
7 April 2011
  • Summary: The seller was great, received the product very quickly. The game on the other hand was very disappointing. I expected to actually be using the strings and frets, not hitting any string on the right fret.

lame game

wallsk8r, Ebay
7 April 2011
  • Summary: i thought it would be fun, like guitar hero, but it is not. it is really childish. the interface and gameplay is lacking and childish overall. also, the guitar is not very cool. it is too hard to use and it is too cheap to sound good on a real amp. the song selection is pretty good though

never again. never, never never again.

K. Robertson, Amazon
28 March 2011
  • Summary: OK, the game itself isn't that bad. Despite the cheesy graphics and goofy storyline, the music is actually OK. My bad review is on the instrument peripherals. The airstrike drums are completely frustrating and UNfun. They don't register hits half the time.

Gig Guitar

J. White "bakugan king", Amazon
11 January 2011
  • Summary: It is a fun game but pretty difficult. I thought I would be pretty good because I can play a mean regular guitar hero guitar but I found it to be very difficult. You deffinatly need tough fingers. It comes with a pic. I bought it for my 12 year old son for Christmas. He doesn't play it much.

Game

Karen Caprio-devore "decap6", Amazon
30 December 2010
  • Summary: The product was fine. The game istelf was a disappointment. My son was expecting a more guitar like experience with this game, but that was not the case. They added strings to the guitar but its still the same concept as just pushing the buttons on guitar hero.
