The game will also be released on Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X as steam-enabled versions. Portal 2 is the sequel to the 2007 video game Portal.

Features

In this game, Chell returns as the main player after being in stasis for a few hundred years. Meanwhile, GLaDOS and the rest of Aperture Science facility fell into disrepair. Chell is awakened via one of GLaDOS’s personality cores and unintentionally wakes GLaDOS. GLaDOS is unhappy with Chell’s return and starts testing Chell again through many chambers as she restructures the dilapidated facility. The Portal 2 video game challenges the players through a lot of physics based puzzles and platforming by using Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device. Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device is a device that creates a temporary hole between two flat surfaces. Other than that, the game includes tractor beams (to bring Chell or objects to otherwise inaccessible areas), special paint-like gels (to impart certain physical effects to surfaces such as boosting Chell’s speed when crosses a surface) and laser redirection which are the other gameplay elements. Portal 2 has a two player co-operative mode where each player controls their own separate portal. This requires the players to work together to complete each level with their own portal guns. In addition, there are also new portable objects in the game that can help the players like the Redirection Cubes, Aerial Faith Plates, Hard Light Bridges and spherical Weighted Storage Balls.
