Summary: Port Royale 3 is a awesome RTS/resource management game. The battles are not that great, but they are fun for a while. Trading resources was fun in beginning like an hour then i got bored and started a rout(too bad there is a limit of routs).
Summary: Recommended --- Port Royale 3 is a fun RTS/resource management game with ships and pirate battles. I like that you can buy and sell goods, build a fleet and build businesses in towns. I also like the pirate battles. It is nice this was ported to PS3.
Summary: Jim here, with my short & sweet review just in time for the official launch of the boxed edition next week. Sadly, I missed out on playing the previous versions of Port Royale. Summary: This game has a very high learning curve. Trade is what this game is all about, although I do like the ship to ship combat. I do want to make one thing clear if you've played Pirates Gold this is not that.

Summary: For those who are looking for a relaxing game to enjoy after a tough day at work, then Port Royale 3 is perfect. However, if you are looking for heart racing action then you should probably look elsewhere. I'll review this game for exactly what it is: a trade and economic based game.
