Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End

Strategy Informer
14 September 2007
  • Conclusion: And that really sums up Pirates of the Caribbean as a videogame; Short, shallow and repetitive, with not a whole lot to tie you in to the experience. Just like the movie itself, some might say.

The dull, repetitive combat and uninspired mission structure prevent At World's End from being much fun.

GameSpot
25 May 2007
  • Summary: It's almost hard to believe in this day and age of movie and game tie-ins, but other than a couple of handheld games, the last Pirates of the Caribbean movie didn't have a companion game on consoles.
  • Pros: Does a decent job of matching the look and feel of the movies, Minigames are a nice bonus
  • Cons: Basic combat is dreadfully boring, Mission objectives are uninteresting, All the playable characters play the same way

At World's End's slick visuals don't make up for the dull, repetitive combat and uninspired mission structure.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End

Project COE
22 May 2007
  • Conclusion: Regardless of which version you buy, the PlayStation 3 or the Xbox 360 version, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End fails to capture the spirit of the movie. It feels like a quick way for Disney to make some money out of the license.

Review: Pirates of the Carribean 3

gamesaktuell.de
20 July 2007

Review-PS3: Pirates of the Caribbean

Playstadium
6 July 2007

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End
