Summary: got a lot of hours out of this, then I learned that you can buy these games and more from playstation store. I think the standalone media game provides better image quality but would like to see more games added. still, great nostalgic fun!!!
Summary: I really can't add more than what Matthew T. Weflen said in his review. I did not play much video or pinball games as a kid, preferring to play outdoors instead. Thus I did not have much to compare this to. A friend had this on his PS3 and I got a chance to play it and fell in love.
Summary: First I must say, as computer/console pinball games go, this is pretty good overall, but NOTHING beats the real thing. I've owned this game for the PS3 for a while now so I feel I have a good balance of it. Jive Time is the only one I haven't played yet as it's locked-locked.
Summary: Recently became interested in buying a real pinball machine and decided to get this game to get my pinball fix. And it did just that. I've never played any other pinball simulation video game so i have nothing to compare it to but in my opinion this is a rock solid pinball simulator with a couple...
Summary: I bought this game for two reasons: whirwind and black knight. I've downloaded every pinball I could for the PC on both virtual pinball and future pinball, and neither of these tables exist for them.
Summary: I'm a pinball fan, owned 10 different machines at one time, and some of them are on here. I have played most of the games on here for real, and find most of the simulations on the mark. However, I really wish there was a speed setting.
Summary: This game's been reviewed to death, and most of the glowing reviews are spot-on. I adore pinball, and didn't expect that I'd like virtual simulations much at all. Not so; I bought this first for Wii, and again for PS3 to get the additional newer tables (MM, NGG, AN).
Summary: Overall a fun game to play. Highly recommended to pinball fans. Could use some polish and better quality control before being published. Tales of the Arabian Nights (TOTAN) has bug with the Harem. You can send ball there once and it counts, all other attempts are frequently not counted.
Summary: If you don't know what classics this game has to offer, go search on YouTube for pins like Medieval Madness, Funhouse, Tales Of Arabian Nights and Whirlwind. This game should sit on the shelf of every PS3 gamer 20y+.
Summary: Many reviewers have already covered PHoF's features and gameplay extensively, so I'm just going to talk about a few things I've noticed as a long-time fan of physical and digital pinball. *PHoF has outstanding graphics and sound.
