Summary: I held off buying this game because of the bad reviews, but I should have been better at deciphering the complaints, because they are not things I would complain about. I think this game has everything the first one and they also improved some of the gameplay too by adding in fun features like the mounts, etc. The puzzles are just as fun, the game is just as silly, the playability is very similar. If you simply want more Overlord like I did, get this game.
Summary: The game is an all around good game. There are problems with it like any game. The auto save on it sucks because thats the only why to save the game and in order for it to work you have get to certain points in the game to save. I also didnt like the camra mode due to the fact that you cant manual change it so some times you'll be fighting an enemy and you wont be able to see him. But other then that its a really good game for the price.
Summary: I am new to this Overlord series, but man has this taken me by surprise. I picked up a copy of this for my PS3 and I just fell in love since the first quest. I mean the graphics are pretty good and so are other details, but the story line keeps you hooked. The way you also play is new and inventive. I got this because Fable didn't come for the PS3. This game doesn't disappoint at all.
Summary: I tried the demo of the original Overlord a while back and decided to buy it. I've finished the first Overlord game and I am now about 1/4 (or so?) through the 2nd game. The series is great. It does have some flaws which mar the experience, but only slightly. First the little nitpicks. I know people don't like the camera but it's no big deal unless you're big on action and this is more of a strategy game where you need to slow down and assess the situation anyway.
Summary: I purchased this game about a month ago and I have been playing this game religiously. Referring to other reviews, I don't see how anyone gets "lost" in this game if they're actually paying attention to what's going on in the game. On the contrary, if you look on the map, there's a little exclamation point that shows you where you're supposed to go. I haven't completed this game 100% but I'm almost there.
Summary: Highly recommend you play Overload 1 first. Overload 2 is even better than the first game, which was really good. Game has plenty of levels and game play, fun puzzles, and full of humor. Not for young children. It is the one game that I won't let my boyfriend play without me in the room to watch.
