Summary: For the low price this game is worth it. Some titles are better when purchased after the hype of their release burns out. Patience is a virtue and now is the time for this game to land in your personal catalog.
Summary: If you've had enough of Lord of the Rings and feel that Sauron should get a chance to win his battle for mastery of Evil over all things good give this game a chance. All versions are great fun and the minions are cute and hilarious while trying to help the "Master".
Summary: Overlord Raising Hell is a good game if you like to command units to do your bidding. In this game you need to reclaim your dark kingdom because your castle has been destroyed by some meddlesome heroes. They killed your predecessor so now you need to take over your kingdom once again. In the beginning of your game you go in search of your different types of minions because they have been scattered over the world.
Summary: This game is good for the role-player and the real-time strategist, and has hours of mindless and hilarious destruction for everyone else. The 'Raising Hell' expansion levels add new challenges and unique items (I didn't know this was the expansion until after purchasing, but apparently so). Buy it.
Summary: Good game with dark humor. Gets a little repetitive after awhile and I stopped playing it. You can get it for a good price now and with a second installment coming I hope they take this great idea and improve upon it. Controls can be a little frustrating but overall a good game for your PS3.
Summary: The game Overlord: Raising Hell, is a fun, amusing little gane, At the current $30-$40 price point it's well worth the dollars. The key idea of this game (unlike most arcade games) is that you do NOT attack or affect the enemies directly (except under the most dire of circumstances). Instead you control your minions and let THEM do the dirty work for you. They'll even bring back your money and treasure after they get done looting the room and killing the monsters.
Summary: When this was put out for the X-Box 360 and PC there was complaints about controling your minions and no map, bugs in the system. There have been great improvements for the PS3. There is a map, so now you don't run around in circles. Monions are very easy to control, they are still playful and love getting drunk and pissing on the floor. It doesn't take much to upset the towns people. I believe anyone who like adventure games would enjoy this.
