Summary: Overlord has a simple premise. Play as the villain in a Fantasy setting. You can control minions and have access to various weapons and magic. The game progresses by performing various deeds in a very Tolkien-esque world. You can choose to be relatively good or evil. The game starts out fine as it is a great idea acting like a jerk in various situations. However, the novelty wears thin rather fast.
Summary: Do not be fooled by the excellant reviews this game has got it, it's mediocre at best. For a PS3 game the graphics are poor, but that can be forgiven a game with great gameplay or that bit of sparkle that makes you itch to play it. I gave it 6 - 7 hours of my life and just couldn't be bothered to carry on - with the game that is, and the trophy cabinet is bare as the makers couldn't be bothered to add that little bit of gamer satisfaction. Why am i boo hissing it?
