Very Realistic Military Game, and very, very different from Call of Duty
5 May 2015
Summary: If there's one thing you need to know about this game it's this; This is not remotely like Call of Duty or Battlefield. Those are games fine but they are shoot 'em up games. This is a much more realistic military sim. Which can be good or bad, depending on your attention span and patience.
Summary: WARNING: This is not Call of Duty, this is not Battlefield, this is not the run 'n gun shooters that we have become accustom to. It is a little closer to real war. You can't get shot, duck in a corner until you heal, and then get up and start shooting.
Summary: this game is not for everyone. It is definately a great tactical FPS, tactical being the keyword. This game delivers great gameplay but at a cost. First off let me make this clear, this is a pretty tough game. Nothing compared to something like MW2 or BC2.
Summary: Excellent Game that makes you think and plan your way through missions not just blast everything that moves. Graphics are not "state of the Art" but game play makes up for it. I recommend it highly.
Summary: (updated 2011) This is not designed for the action/adventure shooters like Uncharted, Just Cause, COD, or similar titles. The realism in this game is rooted in the pace: you're going to have to take a bit of time, and in hardcore mode you're going to HAVE to devote a lot of strategy to meet primary...
Summary: After reading all of the negative reviews about this game, I began to wonder if anyone even realizes this is a 3rd installment to this game. The original, and add-on, was based on a fighting a war against the Soviets. This is a thinking man's game. Not a doom/delta force knock off.
Summary: Great game overall. Attention to detail on some things was clearly neglected such as blown up vehicles. All houses were very small and empty. Graphics need a little work. Campaign overall was pretty good. Great gameplay!!
Summary: This is a tough game. There is no easy setting and the gameplay doesn't really change from the normal to more difficult options except for some heads-up display items. You lead a 4-man fire team engaging in missions against the Chinese forces that have occupied an oil-rich Russian island.
Summary: Game is ultimately below-standard on many fronts, but it is also unlike anything else on consoles right now. No, it's not the "milsim to end all milsims" that some were hoping for and expecting, but it delivers a unique experience, fantastic atmosphere, and lots of replay value.
