Very repetitive, got it for the anime fan in my family.

Summary: I purchased this for my step daughters birthday. She is really into anime and loves one piece. She seems very entertained with the game, as a more hard core gamer, I find the game play very repetitive, much like dynasty warriors. Personally I think this should be a $30 game. Game is subtitled in English so that's kinda nice.
Summary: Here I would refer you to the GameSpot review of the game. First, if you haven't watched the anime/manga series, you probably won't understand most of what's going on. That should be enough to discourage you from buying it. If you have seen the series, you'll understand it, but you'll also see everything that they failed to portrait correctly.
Summary: The game was received in a timely manner and well packaged. Unfortunately there was no mention that the game would NOT play on a non HD tv. So while it looks like it might be fun we won't know for sure unless we move an entire game system to a small bedroom tv that is HD. What makes it even sadder is that games cannot be returned once the seal is broken and of course in order to find out that it would not play the seal was broken and the game inserted into the PS3...
Summary: There are only 13 chararacters which i can play but for the first warrior series, good quality over all. so i was going to give five stars but i dont know why some how my redeem code doesnt work. it says it is no longer valid or miss typed the code. Since i checked like freaking 20 times and try to put the code i did not miss typed it. that means some one used my code. anyone knows whats going on or knows how to solve this problem?
Summary: One Piece: Pirate Warriors is not the best game ever, but it is fun, especially if you're a fan. The normal difficulty is quite easy at first, but it becomes harder when you advance in the story. Bosses are the real challenge of the game, but you will have to put the highest level on if you want something really complicated. I played for 12 hours at maximum difficulty and it was nice, but finally I changed it because it was too hard for me. I played a total of 17 hours.
Summary: One Piece: Pirate Warriors is a good game for those who love the story of One Piece. There are a lot of character moves (Rufy can use the gom gom pistol, bazooka, axe and many others), and it's really funny to use them like in the manga.
Summary: One Piece: Pirate Warriors is a great game, especially for a One Piece fan. If you love the manga, you will enjoy this title in the main adventure of the story, but some parts are missing, like Skypea and Thriller Bark. The Musou system is funny at the beginning but can become annoying and repetitive after some hours. There are a total of 13 playable characters, not so much for a One Piece game, and a lot of important characters are missing, like the 3 marine admirals.
Summary: Please note. This is based on the Japanese edition which is exactly the same aside from text change. I've owned the game since March this year and wanted people to know what they were buying before blindly rushing into this one. So, finally One Piece heads onto the PS3. After what seems like eons on Nintendo systems, and it's a Dynasty Warriors type-game too! Awesome! There's no way this can go wrong...can it?
Excerpt: ...stancato.
