Summary: I downloaded this game off of the PlayStation store for 20 dollars and to my surprise the improvements made were huge! - The graphics are STUNNING! Some of the scenes are unbelievably beautiful for a video game. - The manual controls on the PS3 controller are BETTER than the motion controls making the game more enjoyable. - There is trophy support on the PS3 version adding a lot more replay value. The Wii or the PS2 versions do not have this.
Summary: This is the first game I've played with the PS3 Move that seemed to fit the format perfectly. I love the concept of the game, the look of it, and the way it flows. A very original piece of work and I highly recommend it.
Summary: I bought this game when it first came out on playstation 2, it sucked me in, there is so much to do and the story and characters are so impactful, the game is both touching and funny and the graphics are beautiful especially in HD. Being that the game is a japanese import I was a bit concerned but there is no reason to be, there is no region lock and the game is completely translated into English.
Summary: I really loved to play Okami on my Playstation 2 and now, it looks much better in HD on Playstation 3. When I discovered that the Japanese retail version was region free I bought it at once. When it arrived I put it on my PS3, waiting for the disc to install the contents (for some reason, the game installs on the system.), starting it and it worked. The opening is in Japanese, but when the title screen comes, it is English text.
Summary: So I decided to buy the HD upgrade on the PS3. This game is one of the most magnificent pieces of video game art I have seen and played. And in case you were not aware, all PlayStation 3s can play any region of video game, So no matter where you are in the world your PS3 can play this game! The art for this game is styled after traditional Japanese artwork.
Summary: played the PS2 version and fell in love with it - this continues off from where it left in the PS2 version and it is awesome - highly recommend to use the move with this game for the paint brush.
Summary: This disk is basically an international version of the game, meaning that it contains an English option. The language is set by your system language so don't worry about trying to change it yourself. Because of the multiple languages this version takes up a bit more space then the download version but its not a big deal. Trophies are registered under the same game so if you started the download version and then decided to get this your trophies will carry over.
One of the truly great games, in HD, on disc, and in English

Summary: 4 out of 4 stars Pros: The stellar cult classic "Okami" remastered on PS3; some of the most beautiful artwork of any game, now in HD; story and characters are terrifically entertaining; great musical score; world/dungeon design still amazing; very lengthy quest (40+ hrs); is in English right out of the box. Cons: Not a lot.
