Summary: The graphics are not tremendous. The announcing is horrible. that said, the gameplay is fast and fun. I have EA version, and the graphics and play by play are much better, but the gameplay is not as action packed. this offers much more end to end play, so I actually would recommend this over EA.
Summary: This game had so much for it, but there a few flaws in the menu areas. The graphics aren't bad and in fact they were better than I expected. The controls are easy to get used to and I think they might be the same as ones in the EA Sports HHL game. The only problem I had was the setup of the menu, which was very hard to figure out where things were at. Overall this is a good hockey game and I would recommend it.
Summary: When i play in the modes i have lots of fun. But when you play into 10 years franchis mode the games freezs. Then i have to delate all my data and start oll over and i hate that part. I love the games with no probles besides that one.
Hockey part VERY fun, but takes a lot of adjusting.

Summary: This game is very fun. I love it, but the speed of the game is to slow. It also takes about an hour of adjusting the the game sliders to your preferences before the game becomes fun. you can adjust the skating speed of the players, but at the top level, it's still slightly to slow. you should also slow the shot speed down a little. the graphics are good, the music is alright, but i hate the menu system. I don't know why, but i just hate it.
Summary: This game has very smooth gameplay and definitely has more of a arcade style feel to it but plays nothing like it. I like the way the players fight for the puck during face-offs and the actual fighting itself is pretty good too. It's a lot easier to score goal compared to the NHL franchise from EA Sports. Playing with Alexander Ovechkin is like playing with Kobe Bryant you can pretty much dominate at will. I once scored five goals with Ovechkin.
Summary: Things to like- Price. This game is selling for around $30 which is a great value. Game play. True that the default game speed is way too slow out of the box, but this is easily corrected by modifying the game sliders. I've adjusted my slider all the way to 100% for game speed and I like it. Adjusting all the different sliders through trial and error is all part of the learning curve, but once your sliders are set up right the game play is really fluid and enjoyable.
Summary: This Is My NHL Review There seems to be a lot of talk about which game is better NHL 2K10 OR NHL10. After playing both games I can now make an informed decision. Nhl 2k10 is a very user friendly game. The game play isn’t too complicated for non-hockey fans, and for hockey fans it can deliver very exciting game play. What I liked most about 2k10 was that is very fun to play and very simple.
Summary: This is a pretty good game. It's a step up from the years past in 2ksports NHL games, and it continues to get more realistic. I have it on PS3 and am pretty happy with my purchase. Graphics are of course, pretty stunning. The fighting isn't that good - two buttons, really? Overall it is decent. Not perfect, but I don't know if any sports game ever will be. Definitely fun to play!
