Good price if you are not picky about current rosters and that sort of thing

Summary: This is a pretty good game. It is the only hockey game I have played on the PS3 but it seems good (EA has been refining their craft for a long time now). The music gets repetitive but you can load your own songs onto the title screens. THE SERVERS HAVE BEEN SHUT DOWN.
Summary: There is actually nothing wrong with this game. The play is realistic and the graphics are great. The problem is the steep learning curve that none of the little neighbor kids even blink at! I guess it's a generation gap thingy.
Summary: I'm a NHL fan but I hate buying sports games because they seem to be obsolete after one year. I haven't bought an NHL game since the mid 90's, I decided to go with EA because they're a big name brand. The controls were easy to learn and I was able to start playing immediately.
Summary: Sometimes the goalie freezes the puck and no whistle ever blows. Commentary sometimes just stops. When it does work, its the same stuff as we've heard for years. The faceoffs are a big improvement. A fun game but they ship with bugs. I wish they would fix it instead of adding more each year.
Summary: So this is the first sports game I bought for my PS3 and it's simply awesome, great graphics, the commentators are never very repetitive, and it's lots of fun to play. The only downside is it has a very sharp learning curve, so expect to be out shot and beaten quite badly the first couple games.
Summary: I recently purchased this game from Amazon and it is addictive. People who own NHL 10 may not see the differences right away, but the more you play the more you notice how much has changed. The hits are definitely different.
