Summary: NHL 2004 with updated roster. Nothing at all. The worst hockey game for PC. Waste of money, waste of time. Rather play old versions. Btw it's last ice-hockey game for computers, so it's only one reason why to play or buy this game.
Summary: Well i'm sure i would love the game. But being that I ordered it 2 months ago and still have not yet recieved it, I cant give the game a good or bad review. So I gues this will be a review on Amazon. This is not the only product i have ordered and not yet recieved.
Summary: This is a pretty game, but the play is absolutely HORRIBLE. It makes NO sense. Random shots go in and goalies turn into Gods. If you just you want to move players around and don't care about goals or the score or anything its OK. Otherwise stay FAR FAR away. Get an old version of NHL.
Summary: I've been playing EA sports hockey games since the 90s. I am a huge fan and this is my favorite game. But this is the worst version I every played. No more high scoring games, very few great one timers.
Summary: This would have been an awesome game like...10 years ago. NHL series peaked in 2001-2002 and been dropping like a rock since then. Its truly a disgrace that EA even has the balls to release this game for anything more than free, hell people who pirate the game will probably feel robbed of hard drive...
Summary: This is a fun game in many ways, but with some very frustrating drawback. EA Sports has been producing this game for 17 years now and they have received the same criticism for all those years - still they seem unable to do anything about it. Here goes: 1.
Summary: I played 09 on PS3 and got really excited and wanted to buy this on PC. Thank god I tried it first because this is really really bad. I was hoping that the new puck control would be so great with keyboard and mouse but nope. This is the same shit I played about 5 years ago.
Summary: Let me begin by saying, the graphics and sounds are all great. The be-a-pro-mode is also really fun, and I still like the dynasty mode. But that's where it ends. The gameplay, nuts and bolts, are simply terrible. Let's begin with the skating, physics there seem to be fine.
Summary: If you do not own a hockey game for your PC, I would recommend NHL08 the most out of what little there is. If you can find NHL09 for a very cheap price, go for it - as long as you don't already own a hockey game for your computer.
