Summary: I think this is a really fun game. the only thing I don't like is its really hard to be able to be the cop. haven't gotten that opportunity yet. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes racing, races and chases.
Summary: After playing this game for an estimated 30 hours of playtime I just beat/finished the game earlier today and prior to playing this game I played NFS Prostreet which I just finished playing a few weeks ago. Prostreet seemed longer to me, it took me nearly a month and an estimated 40 hours of play time to beat that game. However I couldn't put Undercover down sometimes and played for 2-3 hours straight whereas Prostreet I kind of picked at it for an hour here and there.
Summary: I love a challenging racing game. Graphics are important, challenging tracks, stiff competition, realistic sound. The cars sound realistic and that's it. The story line and goals are not even clear cut with Undercover. You are supposed to infiltrate this gang of racers but you don't know where you are on the road to doing that. After the initial cut screens you are on the street. You can drive and get the police chasing you.
Summary: This was a great game right from the begining when you started out in a Lamborghini gallardo right from the start. What stunk though, is that you lost the car on the first level where you have to buy a crappy car. I bought a orange chevy cammaro and put a purple pig graphic on the side - pretty sweet. Any way, you start out doing races and then over time you get into cop chases and other fun stuff.
Summary: Nice to have a non-track NFS on the PS3. But it's still only kinda open world-ed. There really is no point to explore since you can jump straight to each race or shop by pressing the down button or accessing the GPS. It's weird that the GPS doesn't guide you around town like in previous titles. Cut scenes are over the top cheesy. Upgrading cars is simpler. No more brand names like HKS and Turbonetics to upgrade the same part.
Summary: The original NFS was packed with lots of features that lets you customize your own car and looking for customization shops. In this game, your options are limited down a notch. and the cars options are not that intriguing because you will be given new cars as you win races and so you need the cash to upgrade them rather than buying a car and upgrade it. also, once you buy your self a bugatti no one can stand a chance in front of you unless he has another bugatti.
