Summary: I mainly bought this for offline multiplayer. I haven't played NFS since 2003. So this game is really cool. Am not much into racing as well. The graphics is great, the dilemma is good. Still 4 stars?
Summary: Personally, I enjoy the game play on NFS: The Run. It feels smooth and is intuitive. The courses have a beautiful look and are a lot of fun to play. The only issue I have with this game is the story. It is just lacking and unrealistic...if that's even fair to say about a video game. From course to course the objectives change between gaining a certain number of positions to picking up lost time or just defeating one particular opponent.
Summary: The video game Need for Speed: The RUN is a fun and challenging game. The game is like a real street race, you are not only competing against other racers but you have to watch out for the cops and other vehicles that are on the road.
Summary: I'm a big fan of the Need for Speed series and always have been. I own almost the whole collection and have beaten every single one of them. As for Need for Speed: The Run, it was a great game. It was really enjoyable and I nearly had to give myself time limits to stop myself from beating it all in one go. For those gamers who go all-night until you beat the game, you could have it done in one day if you started early on. That is one of the only downfalls to this game.
Summary: I won't say it is fantastic, but I really enjoy the concept, and the available cars are really cool. My biggest complaint is probably the loading times. I feel like I spend almost an equal amount of time loading and playing the game.
Summary: Need for Speed: The Run is a very different take on racing games, with a more cinematic focus and feel to its racing and story-telling, it feels like a Fast & the Furious movie, only if you stripped it of Vin Diesel and actually entertaining races. The Run begins with a lot of promise, with a cinematic intro which seamlessly blends scene into scene, with a nice smooth intro credits over a Porsche Carrera it seems fine for our main character Jack Rourke until we realise...
Summary: This is a pretty good game. Really good graphics and sound. The one thing that really brought the game rating down though would have to be that you can't free roam. If you could free roam this game would maybe be a 10. Also sometimes the game can get really hard. I know that games are meant to give you a challenge but sometimes it is over the top. You can normally get by these after a few rage quits and do overs.
