Summary: What confuses me most is that nearly every person who gave this game high stars complained about what a disappointment it was. So, why give it high ratings? Let's call it what it is: pure garbage. This was bar-none the single worst racing game I've ever played.
Summary: So I was stoked for Hot Pursuit. Until I got the game and discovered you need to open an account with EA before it will give you access to just about everything this game has to offer. I could, but I don't want to open an EA account. No one wants to open an EA account.
Summary: Great to look at, but it ends there. The handling for every car is HORRIBLE. As others have mentioned, there is no change from a Lambo to a Crown Vic. It is so INFURIATINGLY sluggish to drive every car and that really sucks for a game that requires quick reflexes and precision driving technique.
Summary: If you are looking for a reboot of the Hot Pursuit series, then don't look here. If you are looking for an upgrade to the Burnout series (the game the creators made before this), then don't look here.
Summary: Back in the day, Need for Speed was a good series that, coincidentally, released a Hot Pursuit for the PC. Fool that I am, I thought that EA had remade that old winner, added some cars, built new tracks, and fixed some of the mistakes that they'd made, like the cheating AI. They did add cars.
Summary: I'm sorry, but a game that is still utilizing rubber-band A.I. should not be getting such high scores. Beyond that, this frankly feels like half of a game. There is none of the free roaming fun from Burnout: Paradise which makes the great scenery seem pointless as it's hard to appreciate...
Summary: The product is thoroughly outdated and I should have never gone out and buy just because of the reviews, I'm pretty sure to return this product and buy a bit more expensive one than something that looks like Road Rash on my Xp machine back in 90s.
Summary: i've played a lot of NFS games in my time, since the first one back in the early to mid 90s. this is by far the worst ever i have played, and for one simple reason: controls. the controls / car handling in this game, totally sucks.
