Summary: Bought this game to update my copy of NCAA 11 at a very reasonable price. I think recruiting has been improved, I really like the scouting function to figure out who the busts are beforehand. Although I don't understand why in the regular season your visit activities are color coded and in the off season they're like they were in 2011. You'd think the same guy coded these menus, but I guess not. As for gameplay, the thing I have noticed is the interceptions. Holy cow.
Summary: I started playing yesterday and the game has already frozen at least three times during Dynasty, usually at the end of a game which is extremely frustrating. In addition, players slide during replay, which looks awful. I am very disappointed that a company as large as EA would produce a game with so many bugs. Other than the multiple bugs, the game is overall fun.
Summary: I love the game as I always do but I am not happy with EA decision to take away the link between NCAA and Madden. I don't like not being able to save my draft class and having them appear in Madden.
Summary: I was so amped up about the latest version of NCAA Football! It started so smooth for about the first 10-12 hours of gameplay then my screen would just lock! I know I got the game at a good price. But what's up with the game crash every 8-10 hours of play. Please advise EA Sports to debug their games! Financial times are too hard to be shelling out $50 bucks for defective goods. It was going so smooth, then...
Summary: I love college football. It is probably my favorite sport. As seen in a lot of reviews this is just a rehash of the previous installments with minor changes. Not really a fan of the Heisman feature. I don't have much of a desire to take those guys and put them on other teams. Gameplay is pretty similar to earlier years. What I am impressed with is the recruiting. It's probably my favorite part of owning these games and this is the best I have seen it.
Summary: Ok, I had previously posted a review after playing 1 game which the masses did not seem to find helpful, so I have deleted that and will try again after a little more exposure to the game. (Although as an aside, I will say that, in my estimation, any review which is less than unqualified gushing praise appears to be judged by the "majority" as unhelpful which causes my conspiracy theory juices to flow as to just who is evaluating these reviews) Anyway, I am not an avid...
Summary: EA Sports played it safe with NCAA Football 13 by addressing some legacy issues while adding a highly marketable mode with the Heisman Challenge. Unfortunately for veterans of the series the game will feel all too familiar and those tempted primarily by the allure of legends may find themselves somewhat unsatisfied with the path they're being led down. NCAA Football 13 is a product as rich in content as it is uninspired in its execution.
