Summary: The loading to get the game started took forever. Simming a week or moving onto a next season was frustrating. Along with recruiting. Playing the game took way too much time. It was undermined by an improved Madden, but the follow up to this one should be a lot better and will be the last too so... I may take my time getting it.
Summary: Another year, another NCAA Football from EA Sports that doesn't make good on any of their promises. If you're into arcade football, this is the game for you! However, if you want a sim-style football game, this ISN'T for you. Line interaction is lacking and it immediately became outdated when Madden introduce "physics" into their game. The new Heisman Mode is simply a back-of-the-box feature that's both shallow and uninspired.
Summary: I usually buy the franchise every other year. This year I purchased '13 and everything with it has been buggy and awful since I popped it in. First, it doesn't even have the correct schedule for my team. Second, it had major freezing issues which since have been fixed through a release patch. Third, I always play on All-American in past versions and this year is ridiculously harder. The player animations in replays are skating around instead of running.
Summary: Do not buy this, the game is broken and EA doesn't care enough to fix it. I sent it back after a month and I've never done that before! This coming from someone who has bought every college football game since Bill Walsh!
Summary: The majority of times I try to play a game in dynasty mode the game freezes mid game, or after the fourth quarter ends. It's unbelievably frustrating. Don't buy this game until EA recognizes, and solves this issue.
Summary: This game is quite buggy. Here are the bugs that bother me the most - It crashes a lot. I especially love the 2-3 second freezes in the middle of play. Hopefully this will be fixed soon, but I'd wait on buying it until it is fixed. - Omniscient defense. If you pass, you usually have to do some sort of trick to get a catchable ball thrown because the defense is super aggressive and swarms. They also run better routes than your wide recievers!
Summary: The game is an improvement over last year's edition, and overall I enjoy the game. But it is hard, if not impossible, to overlook the freezing issue that plagues the game. I have, on dozens of occasions now, had the game freeze up while loading a game in dynasty, or during a game. It is so frustrating to have most of a game played, only to lose it to a bug that should never have made it through playtesting.
Summary: Let me start off by saying that I buy about every other NCAA game, therefore the last one I owned was NCAA 11. I was very excited to get this game because I love the dynasty mode, and that is what I will write about in this review. I am currently 1 and a half seasons in to the dynasty mode with Air Force. Here is what I think: Pros: -In my opinion, the overall gameplay is pretty good. Big plays every so often, but not always or never.
