Summary: The loading to get the game started took forever. Simming a week or moving onto a next season was frustrating. Along with recruiting. Playing the game took way too much time. It was undermined by an improved Madden, but the follow up to this one should be a lot better and will be the last too so...
Summary: I usually buy the franchise every other year. This year I purchased '13 and everything with it has been buggy and awful since I popped it in. First, it doesn't even have the correct schedule for my team. Second, it had major freezing issues which since have been fixed through a release patch.
Summary: All the next gen legacy problems still exist here. Laggy unresponsive controls for the most part. The player your controlling frequently does not perform the action you're trying to perform (catch/swat/dive/juke) or if the player does perform a dive or swat it does so in a manner that takes the man...
Summary: I like other reviewers have been plagued by the constant freezing in dynasty mode. This happens when loading a game and right after the playbooks are chosen and you click start. I haven't tried installing to my hard drive yet, but a brand new game should never have this kind of problem.
Summary: Another year, another NCAA Football from EA Sports that doesn't make good on any of their promises. If you're into arcade football, this is the game for you! However, if you want a sim-style football game, this ISN'T for you.
Summary: I think EA was sort of grasping when it did the new Heisman thing (for more details, read other reviews or the manual). I used it twice and got bored with it. The recruiting is cumbersome. Maybe it's there, but I could never find the option to turn off scouting as part of recruiting.
Summary: Very late review but ea needs to realize most people could care less about more school entrances or heisman mode. It's dynasty they need to work on and get right! This could be an amazing franchise but the dynasty mode is always screwing up for one reason or 5 and ea always has no idea and you end...
Summary: The game is an improvement over last year's edition, and overall I enjoy the game. But it is hard, if not impossible, to overlook the freezing issue that plagues the game. I have, on dozens of occasions now, had the game freeze up while loading a game in dynasty, or during a game.
Summary: This game is quite buggy. Here are the bugs that bother me the most - It crashes a lot. I especially love the 2-3 second freezes in the middle of play. Hopefully this will be fixed soon, but I'd wait on buying it until it is fixed. - Omniscient defense.
Summary: Let me start off by saying that I buy about every other NCAA game, therefore the last one I owned was NCAA 11. I was very excited to get this game because I love the dynasty mode, and that is what I will write about in this review.
