Summary: NCAA football 2012....wait I mean 2013...is this the right game? It was hard to tell because they're almost exactly alike. New title screen, some features added to current setup in dynasty mode, exact same graphics and game mechanics. I'm glad EA went all out on this one....not. From the commercials, save your money for 2014. Hopefully they changed that one up a little bit.
Summary: I've played NCAA for over ten years and this was the worst edition of the game. The worthless cut scenes and score updates for other fictional games was one thing, but the gameplay has actually managed to get worse. The rating system, which always gave good or great players a leg up in gameplay, now actually handicaps players who aren't good or great. Have an average QB? Prepare to miss dump off passes. How about a slightly above average safety?
Summary: This game is a huge step back. Graphics, passing game the entire gameplay. Pass interference has been completely taken out of the game, the franchise glitches occasionally causing the screen to freeze and the passing game is the most unrealistic of any modern game out there. Waste of money don't buy it (and I normally love this title).
Summary: So, I bought a video game that I just new I would love. I started a Legend Mode game and got through the high school season, as a 5 star recruit. I looked over the list of potential colleges, and to my dismay none were offering me a starting position right off the bat. Okay, nothing a little hard work won't cure. Well it doesn't take me long to get up to starting running back, about 2 games. Now, every time I get touched, I am injured.
Summary: wtf...? almost all of the game is a repeat from the past two years. the walkout is the same for almost every school. the only thing i like different is the opportunity to play with the previous heisman winners.. but only about 15 of them.. what i cant stand is that you cant export players to madden for the draft. that was about 70% why i got the game, i would try to develop players in college and then put them on my pro teams.. but now i cant do that?
Doesn't deserve more than two stars due to major glitch.

Summary: I want to love this game. It's even more realistic than the previous edition. That said, I'll go straight to the problem that everyone who is giving it one or two stars is having: the game freezes up and you have to totally restart. Initially, you think you can get around it in the dynasty mode by going to recruiting, moving anything, then autosaving. But it will even freeze up while playing.
Summary: I know that reviews such as this and the countless others (because the game is really bad) only serve to kill off the franchise and that is disappointing. However, this game is 95% last years game, complete with all the bugs and limitations of previous years. EA is the king of REMOVING customization and has used the NCAA franchise as revenue stream with little development. That is why NCAA always using an older engine than Madden...
