Summary: The graphics in the game is pretty solid. The player models look good and the surroundings don't look bad. At the same time though you wonder why the surroundings don't look better. Why is everything over the sideline still look noticeably bad even when its so small and far away at times.
Summary: This game looks amazing, sounds amazing, & the career mode is set up to be a lot of fun. The interface is easy to learn and navigate as well. However, I simply can't get over how awful and inconsistent the computer (AI) is at times. During one play, a wide receiver will make an acrobatic catch, then the very next play, the ball will hit him in the face-mask and he won't even try for it.
Summary: I have a PS3 from '09, it is fat and only 80GB. My friend has a launch 160GB. NCAA 12 freezes all the time on my PS3, while it really never froze on my friends. It really is a matter of space and Hard drive. I liked everything about the game, the running, kicking, passing, dyNASTY, RTG, Teambuilder, it really is a great game. But I can't give it 5 stars because it turns to crud when you run it on a PS3 with less memory.
Summary: I knew i wasn't gonna by NCAA 13 cause i didn't want to spend so much money on a game that becomes obsolete after 1 year. Got a 1 year old game for $20 which is totally valuable and will no doubt play this until the update the up NCAA games with playoff system they've agreed upon. The worst part I had was getting used to the new layout. I haven't played since 2009 and I was so backwards! The controls are way smoother and I do now find them enjoyable.
Summary: I haven't bought a football game since Gameday 2001 for the original playstation, so I figured it was time to upgrade. This game will definitely keep you busy for some time. The team builder option is fun but flawed. I found a team from my small college already made up but the maker took some liberties that I wanted to change, but I couldn't. The only option is to completely build it from the ground up myself just to change to small details.
