Summary: I purchased this game and enjoyed it, but my intention was to play it online with a friend who also owns it. EA has already shut down the servers for 2008, so can play online. The gave is very fun otherwise.
Summary: I've been playing ea football games for 15 years and this is by far the worst one i've every played. late hits on qb were sporadic as far as calling 15 yard penalties, balls caught out of bounds were ruled catches, fumbles caused by the ground were considered fumbles...could go on and on. this game is not consistent. way too many int's and fumbles. too bad; ea used to be good.
Summary: There are a lot of great things about this game but I am going to just focus on the things that are wrong. First of all, every linebacker is Ray Lewis and can pick off a pass that comes within fingertip reach of them. That however, is just a mere annoyance. The more glaring turnover issue is that someone failed to tell EA Sports that the ground cant cause a fumble.
Summary: More Disappointment Like many people are, I am very disappointed with this game. I have been an avid fan of NCAA games for the past 5 years or so, but this game is practically unplayable for me. In the past, I have mostly played Dynasty mode. However, in my opinion, it's not very fun in this game. Many people seem to like the new recruiting system, but I hate it. It is overly complicated and requires about as much time as the actual games do.
Summary: I've been enjoying this franchise on PS2 for many seasons, so I've been looking forward to the PS3 version all year. This game is really a ground-up redesign. Some major changes: *Only one camera is available for actually playing, although several are available for intant replays. The game camera is similar to the default angle for the previous games in the series, but with slightly better down-field vision.
