Summary: I bought this game for my younger brother who is a Basketball fanatic! He spent over 5 hours straight playing this game and still loves it! Personally I don't see the thrill but if you love Basketball or even like it this game is a winner. Graphics are fabulous and very real! I thought it was a live game on TV.
Summary: I find this game to be hard, but it really does a good job of simulating a game of basket ball. And the graphics are awesome on a PS3. One thing to remember about this game: you actually have to play basket ball, it's not like games a few years ago that were just a mad dash to steal and block when on defense. It has an arcade mode but that's still much more like a real basket ball game than anything a few years ago.
Summary: the game gives nearly every player in the teams' starting lineup a signature shot and some signature moves. The career mode is chalenging and fun. the gameplay is fun and addictive. The gameplay is fun but the freethrow shooting is very chalenging. nba 2k7 is a must buy for even the casual gamer. nba 07 is more bugged with glihces.
Summary: I originally played this title for the 360. Knowing that I was in for an excellent basketball game this was not a bad investment to make. Now Sony is marketing their own basketball game that is displayed in 1080p. 2K7 is not in 1080p. Should that be a selling point? Generally with a new console like the PS3 it would be. Although if people are able to try both titles they will find a clear winner. 2K7 is amazingly realistic with the best graphics by far.
Summary: I used to be really into NBA Live, but then they started messing up the gameplay and dunks were unstoppable. In 2k7, you earn your blocks and just because someone looks like they are going in for an uncontested dunk, I have come out of nowhere for a sick block. I love the replays too like great no look passes for a score, and the alley-oops are very realistic.
Summary: overall, this is a great game for the ps3. i think they can do better once they figure out how to program the games for the ps3 and utilize the systems full potential. here is my list of pros and cons PROS- 1. incredible graphics. i havent seen the game in high definition, but i bet it will be incredible. this game actually utilizes some of the system's power it has to offer. 2. easy to play.

Summary: I truely think that the graphics for this game on a normal tv are better than NBA 07 in 720p. I own this game and have played 07 at Best Buy in 720p. The players are more lifelike(they don't look like they have been shined and buffered for 62 hours straight). Pros: Graphics are great!(I can't wait to see them in 1080p) Gameplay is fun Great game modes,The Association,24/7 and more Fun Online capabilities Cons: The online service isn't always working in full force.
Summary: I've been playing video games since the Atari 2600 days, been through dozens and dozens of basketball games and I can honestly say NBA 2k7 is the best b'ball game I've personally ever played. I think you'll love it too. NBA 2K7 is the most realistic basketball simulation ever. It looks and plays like a real NBA game and I can't get enough of it. The graphics are stunning, gameplay is tight and the sound is awesome.
Summary: This is the best basketball sim ever. It's amazingly fun and it is basically the only thing I play with my friends. It is also hard for anyone person to dominate games everytime which keeps games fun. The game is so realistic and the graphics are pretty good. The only problems were a couple glitches in the game and the menu system isn't perfect but overall, I love this game. I can't wait for the next one.
