Summary: I've been out of active gaming for several years. I haven't played an NBA game regularly in quite some time but decided to give 2K12 a shot. First of all, this is a pretty incredible game. The simulation is as close as I can imagine to an actual NBA game and I am sure an incredible amount of work went into its creation. Kindly, one could say this is a very challenging game to play. To put it a rougher spin on it, this game is as frustrating as any game I've ever played.
After the initial "wow" factor the frustrations mount.

Summary: This is a review from a big fan of "classic" NBA, the great teams and great players from days gone by. So as you would expect I looked forward to this title with much eagerness and got it on day one. And when I first played it I was in awe of the packaging, the cosmetic touches used to recreate some of the great all-time teams and rivalries in NBA history.
Summary: I purchased the game yesterday. Nowhere in the previews I read did it say that we wouldn't get the updated My Player mode that PS3 and Xbox 360 got. However, when I started playing the game, I noticed that not only was the My Player mode the EXACT same as last year, but they had eliminated online play/roster updates entirely. I wouldn't have purchased the game if I'd have known it was missing these features.

Summary: I may not be the best person to give an opinion on NBA 2K12 for the PS3, but then again, I am a white bachelore that cant PLAY basketball in real life, so maybe I am the right person to review this game... Not really for me. I never like the basketball games for the PS3 though. They always seem to be jerky, and not flow very well...That may be more of a knock on the PS3 video drivers though..
Summary: Its a decent basketball game and probably the best out there, until they bring the new season ones out ... good fun and a lot of features that can keep you hooked for the whole year. But the ISO Motions and passing especially could be tweaked immensely to make it that bit better.. also the player mode which i feel is the best feature on the game could be improveed massively with tweaks here and there which i hear and hope they do on NBA 2K12 ...
Summary: I am a huge fan of the NBA 2k series and this game introduces great new concepts: playing with many hall of famers, signature shoots, training camps... But the biggest problem is in MY PLAYER MODE: The good thing is they introduced money and useful stuff to spend it on, changed the trainings, also you start as a decent player and evolve more slowly, the possibility to simulate non-key games...
