Summary: This game isn't as good as I thought it would be. I bought it the other day, not knowing that after the newer version is released that you can't update the rosters anymore. Well I guess its not really the game's fault but rather mine. But they should at least be considerate enough to put that message maybe in back of the box with bigger letters and not on the last page of the manual in little letters. Any way, this game has good graphics, not too amazing.
Summary: have not played it a bunch but it seems very hard. lot of buttons to push for some of the moves. i think it will be ok if i get the time to lear all the moves but for now its just average for me
Summary: It is a great simulation which is why I said it was average and not below average. The spotlight on the nuances of the game and some of the extras like creating your own player are cool. And the player faces look so real! But the gameplay is...okay. The first thing I had to do was speed the game up. The computer hits EVERYTHING!!! Reasonably fast players on fast break always seem to get caught by a defender. My defenders don't seem to be able to play defense.
Summary: The game plays, once you hash around and try to figure out settings on your own. The user manual contains only controls and bloody little about them. It contains nothing at all about game and profile setup, which, even after making our way through it, still continues to be a challenge. Whoever took care of graphics needs to either go back to school or be canned. I've not seen so many people out of proportion.
Summary: this game is had a chance too be very solid but is hindered by glitches and very unsmooth gameplay and not to meantion the lag online its so hard to get a match online because of so much lag. die hard nba 2k fans may look passed it but causual should give it a rent first however there is some good, players have signature playing styles such as dunk packages layup packages and more graphics are nothing short stunning but my player mode is so diffiulcult you could get an A...
Summary: I've been a 2k guy with bball since 2k5. I've been pleased with them so far, but I always like to see customer reviews before I buy any game and for the most part it helps me out. But for this particular game the posts are so back and forth, I have no clue whether to go with 2k or live. I do admit last years gameplay for 2k was a little rough but I managed to adapt. In past titles I could use a number of different strategies against the ai making it very entertaining.
Summary: Let me start off by saying that I was a big fan of the 2k series until I bought this game. I used to hate the 2k series back in the day (when they first came out on ps2), but when I bought 2k8 NBA (on ps3) I loved it. With that being said, this game is nothing like that and I didn’t buy 2k9 last year (I just didn't want it). The controls and everything are the same, but the playability of the game isn't.
Summary: Ok, I have played both Live 10 and NBA 2k10 and I can tell you from experience that NBA Live 10 is a much better game than 2k9, I mean 2k10. I guess that it's easy to make that mistake since 2k10 is basically 2k9 with just new presentation graphics, after the wow factor leaves, it's the exact same boring game that I returned last year. NBA Live 10 is incredibly fast paced, fun and addictive.
Summary: Someone in a previous post mentioned something about it being a repackaged 2k9 and they are EXACTLY right. I must say that it is disappointing due to all the trouble that 2k9 came with. I really expected 2k to do better... The gameplay is still far too computer controlled. You cant simply come down and stop and pop on a defender b/c you'll either jump WAY in front of the 3 point line or pull up from "Million Dollar contest distance" way far behind the line.
Summary: For some reason when I click "ok" to update this to the newest version, the screen just turns black and won't start up. This goes the same for my heavenly sword game so I give this 3 stars as I'm sure it works, just not for me. If anyone can help me out, e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org please.
