Summary: I don't understand where nintendo went wrong. I have read lots of reviews on this game. I was suprised by the poor graphics. I have a PS2 and the graphics were better. I played this game about 30 minutes and i will not play it any more. I am sorry i wasted my money on it. I wish i would have bought the PS3 instead of the Wii. Trust me. Don't waste your money on this game.
Summary: Since this year i player the NBA Live series but i read a lot of reviews online and in magazines. They all said NBA 2K was the best basketball game out. So this year I bought 2k10 and was very disappointed in the game. The controls are very poor. Your player never goes where you want him to go. Dribbling control is pretty bad, i dont like the fact of having to use the left stick as the moving and dribbling stick. The computer drops every shot it takes.
Summary: This game was too glitchy to be any fun. They've released 2 patches for it so far, but the animation of the basketball just looks weird and the shooting is not consistent. It's fun to play around with for a while, but I wouldn't play a full season with it. I would definitely wait until the price dropped on it. There's no way to justify a $60 price tag for it.
Summary: This game is not like it was last year. I know as an avid basketball fan, i am going to sell this soon and pick up fifa 10. The game play and the overall experience is lacking and not to the high level it was last year. Disappointed overall!
Summary: I'm a long-time NBA2K series fan, but this one disappointed me quite a bit. NBA 2k10 has so many bugs and unbalanced game plays so that it should be called beta version; How can 2K sports release the game in this condition? I just stopped playing and am waiting for a bug fix patch. I still doubt if the patch will be able to fix the most critical issue: no presence of physical contact in the paint area allowing easy entry pass to a player right under the basket.
Summary: This is helpful advice along with a review of only the my player mode. First off, this mode is full of glitches. It is unreal the frustration I have went through. For instance before you start make sure to set the minutes per game outside of the my player mode before you start otherwise you will play 5 minute games and never change that (which will kill your player because he will never get enough playing time once the season starts).
Summary: I played the heck out of NBA 2k9, so I was excited about NBA 2k10, especially because of the My Player mode. However, the one thing that ruins sports games for me is the bread and butter play...you know, the play you can use to score every time? Well, NBA 2k10 suffers from the same thing (ironically) that's plagued the Live series for years, dominating point guards. Even on Hall of Fame difficultly, I can take Jason Kidd and score 60 against the Lakers.
