Summary: Although the online aspect of the game is unfortunately well known for bugs and lag during racing there is still a good online experience since the patches released for the game which toned them down and given that the lobby has a good connection can provide a great online experience.
Summary: I am not a big time gamer but even I was able to agree with previous reviews. The cation flags are a joke you have to bein a muliple car accident with cars flipping just to bring out the flag. There are multiple glitches on certain track where your car slows down for no reason. To be honest I like me very old nascar 04 for ps2 better then this game. Being a nascar fan is probably the main reason why I gave it 3 stars.
Summary: It's an ok racing game. My favorite part is designing your race cars. I have about 10 of them. I paint and letter them for friends and copy them and send them to friends for their screensavors. There is so much wasted time in between trying to race online, then they have these stupid trivia facts too, senseless, who cars when it is a drivers b-day or where he was born.
Summary: Unless I missed something during start-up, I am not happy that I can only race for just a few laps in career mode. I am used to the E/A Sports versions that let you decide what percentage of the race you want to run from 10% to 100%. Perhaps as I earn more "trophies" it will unlock something, not sure. If I can only run 5 laps at Daytona, what fun is that. You will never have to make pit stops for anything. Thats half the fun.
Summary: Been waiting for another Nascar game for PS3. And this is one. It is OK. Just longing for an upgrade to Papyrus incredible game but I know that will never happen. Game play is ok but have issue with my wireless Logitech wheel as it recalibrates during play. Tracks seem to be really well done and cars are pretty good. Wish they would hurry with the update.
Summary: For a first effort, it's not that bad. However, I expected more, especially since it was delayed from last year to this year. Also, the game has been out nearly 2 months. Can we get a patch to update the driver changes and changes to the points system? The racing itself is fun, and controls a lot better for me than any of the EA produced NASCAR games of the past. Out of the gate the developers have proved they can handle this aspect for me.
