Same as 08 but with new paint schemes and less crashing

Summary: I waited a year so the price of this game would get knocked down and become affordable and its been a letdown. I got it mainly to play online, but it is very difficult. Those who have played Nascar 08 will feel that the handling is the same, but the car doesnt try to spin every single turn. I just got it today and ive also learned that Nascars online paint booth servers are shut down/or not working and the game will soon be taken off of EA servers totally (bummer.
Summary: This game is pretty bad. The graphics are straight out of the PS2, at best. The handling is very arcade--under/oversteer and that's pretty much it. The yellow cautions are -extremely- annoying--once you're involved in a crash, you must go through the entire pitstop/restart pain before you can do anything (e.g., restart the race).
Conclusion: Its a improvement over Nascar 08, but EA's Nascar games are just still off the mark by a long way. First of all the PS3 version is a port from the Xbox 360 version (which i didnt know until after buying it for PS3 ) The game has texture problems and some frame rate issues, whereas the 360 doesnt. Lazy developers!
Summary: With the video game market already flooded with racing games, Nascar 09 really needs to deliver if it wants to be at the top. However, when I played the game with my friend, a die hard nascar fan he was very impressed but having experienced Grid and Gran Turismo 5: Prologue I was very disappointed. I thought the game was rubbish and not very good at all. The game follows the 09 nascar season.
