Summary: Game is fair to play. Because you have to force your way to the front of the pack, the game sees you as agressive and "black flags" you to make you last place. There is no way to shut off the flags as in previous releases so it makes winning very difficult.
Summary: Well after being able to get around to play this game I must say I'm glad I waited for a great deal from the seller. The game has some glitches even though there was an update when I put the game in. So of the challenges are kind of weird. For example to avoid wreaks they don't want you to leave the track, however if you ever watch a race you will see they use any part of the track they can to avoid the wreak.
Summary: No other game in the Nascar series has ever been a 1 player game. Unfortunely for me I didn't realize this until I tried to race my friend and couldn't figure out where to pick a 2 player race mode. Then I looked at the back of the box to find that it is a 1 player, mutiple players online. This forces your freinds to buy the game and have an internet connection so that you can race them. How Lame is that?
Conclusion: Its a improvement over Nascar 08, but EA's Nascar games are just still off the mark by a long way. First of all the PS3 version is a port from the Xbox 360 version (which i didnt know until after buying it for PS3 ) The game has texture problems and some frame rate issues, whereas the 360 doesnt. Lazy developers!
Summary: With the video game market already flooded with racing games, Nascar 09 really needs to deliver if it wants to be at the top. However, when I played the game with my friend, a die hard nascar fan he was very impressed but having experienced Grid and Gran Turismo 5: Prologue I was very disappointed. I thought the game was rubbish and not very good at all. The game follows the 09 nascar season.
