Summary: I bought NASCAR 09 before NASCAR The Game 2011 was announced and released, mainly for the online portion because the AI in the single player was very inconsistent, such as the other drivers would not acknowledge you being next to them and cause you to wreck. The online was ok until EA shut down the online portion of the game.
Summary: I was looking for a nascar game with some more storyline than the new NASCAR game made by some other company. I would not buy the $23 new version, but for around $9 for a used copy, it will keep you entertained for a month or two.
Summary: This game has allowed me to fill my time after school racing against opponents fit to my standards. the game can be easily enjoyed by expert nascar racers or people who just want to win. the realistic graphics make for a great expirience. it is a fitting replacement for Nascar 2011 if you dont feel like spending the extra twenty dollars for that game. this version of nascar is just as good.
Summary: being that huge nascar fan I am..I absolutely love this game. I have all the nascar games, including the bug filled nascar 11. whether your a true nascar fan, or just a gamer looking for a nascar sim, people shoot this game down, but its fun. Only downfall to it, is when your on easy, your on the track for half the race by yourself unless ur short track racing of course. If you find this game too easy on easy, do what I do...skip qualifying and start in 43rd.
Summary: This is by far the worst racing game I ever played. Although the graphics are great, the gameplay is awful. I much rather play 08 on PS2. The biggest thing for me is no bump drafting. If you get behind another car and try to push them they lock the brakes and both of you go to the back. There are lots of other problems as well. I couldn't help but feel like the developer has never even seen a nascar race. Forced myself to play 6 hours hoping it would get grow on me.
Overall, NASCAR 09 may not be an extremely pretty game to look at, but it's certainly not ugly.

Summary: NASCAR racing is kind of like car racing with Zoolander-complex...except Zoolander could only turn right. Regardless, the sport is extremely popular in the United States, and if you think there's something remotely easy about controlling a vehicle constantly moving at speeds between 160 to 200MPH, with 43 cars on a fairly narrow road, you may want to get your head examined.
