Summary: Granted this was one of the first games for PS3, but I still found it pretty overrated. The Good: The graphics are absolutely stunning. The overall idea of different surfaces and different vehicles and taking the right path is pretty different. The levels aren't just a straight linear path like pretty much all other racing games I've played. The Bad: I found the heavier vehicles to be considerably better. The bike and other lightweights are just all over the place.
Summary: I really enjoyed this game. The latter stages is so hard and almost impossible to advance. The first to the middle part of the game is way good but the last six levels you will wonder why you dont advance. This is the only thing I dont like about the game. The levels before this grueling ending are way awesome. If you dont mind playing a game that you may never finish.I believe this game is good.I know that there are other Motorstorm games that are like this. For a reasonable...
Summary: I bought this game because it was the first game I ever played on a PS3. Dont get me wrong, its a fun game, but there are very few tracks and it gets kinda repetitive. Also, this game doesnt support PSN tropies. so that was a bummer for me. overall a fun game, but there are better games out there for the same price!
Summary: I didn't like. I bought because it said it was multiplayer (not especifies if offline or online) so when I got it, I play, enjoy, but couldn' t play multiplayer offline, even when in the box says so. Bummer. Apart from that the game is fun to play, nothing exceptional.
Summary: The excitement of playing Motorstorm on my brand new PS3 kept me awake for few nights before the game arrived by mail. First few games were mind-blowing. I was more interested in crashing my off-road vehicles to see them blown off to 100 pieces in slow-mo! What is neat is that you can pause during a crash and rotate the shot 360 degrees to get a view of the blown vehicle.
Summary: We bought a PS3 for Christmas for my twelve year old son. We got Resistance 2, Rachet and Clank, Motor Storm and Indiana Jones temple of doom. Resistance and Rachet are a blast and I past them both within weeks. Indiana Jones was to kiddish for me (I'm 30), so this left me playing Motor Storm because I couldn't afford to buy another game. I ended up passing every race. I would race until I eventually took first place which would allow me to close out the ticket.
Summary: I rented this game, and while there is great action and crashes, I found it quite difficult to win. Understand that I didn't use it alot, so I didn't know the tracks well, which will allow easier competition. One thing that is very cool is there are no skill settings, the game does it all for you. As you get better, the competition gets better, so even though I was winning, I could not dominate. Even tracks I won handily on early in the game became very difficult to win.
Summary: I was not as impressed as I thought, but I am more of a FPS type gamer. I did like the graphics, but the action was a bit slow and the engines blew up too much. Graphics do show damages to vehicle as you play, but the tickets you have to buy to drive in certain events seem silly. Get this game if you are a true racing game fan, but I would recommend MX vs ATX more.
