  • Excerpt: MotorStorm: RC is not just a $10 game. No! In terms of customizable playability, MotorStorm: RC is worth more than it’s physically released, and currently more expensive, direct predecessor, MotorStorm: Apocalypse. Evolution Studios made a good looking game; it might be a little too good looking for some at times. Some tracks have a lot of contrast to the structures maintaining the outline of the track which is a good thing – we are talking about racing toy-ish vehicles.

MotorStorm

Playstation Illustrated
3 July 2008
  • Excerpt: Beautiful. Gritty, dirty and absolutely beautiful. I'm not the type of person that seeks out the perfect place to "mud ride" or jumps into a car held together with duct tape and metal strapping and roars off cross-country, but I can appreciate the dedication to detail that was lovingly instilled into the graphics in MotorStorm .

MotorStorm

The Gamers Temple
24 March 2008
  • Excerpt: MotorStorm is more than a game; it’s a demonstration of the power sitting under the PlayStation 3’s hood. It’s hard not to be impressed with the game’s amazing visuals. If you want to show someone what your PS3 is capable of, this is the game to do it with. The gameplay is fast, exciting, and original, but unfortunately it’s also thin. It’s like the game really was first designed as a demo, with the gameplay added as needed to show off one particular effect or another.
