Summary: Pros: Great graphics; nice sound; diverse and imaginative track design Cons: Cannot customize player, so you're always "player 1"; No speedometer or track map ; NO replay! Summary: Nice rental, but seems rather pointless (with no story); and the "trophies" don't mean much to me. It's just fun for awhile.
Summary: Motorstorm is a great arcade game. In my opinion it is offroad ACTION, and less of a racer. I know ACTION doesn't seem befitting of a game in which you drive, but there are too many problems to call it a real racer. Unless you are a big rig or a Monster truck, it feels as if the environment, the other vehicles, and YOUR OWN VEHICLE are all stacked up against you (not in the strategic good way). Let me bring you to a better understanding..........
Summary: i am a long time fan of MS, but this game disappoint me. the control is not that hard but all the graphics and level of play is beyond good. needs games to be more competitive and more action required.
Summary: this game is really frustrating sometimes cuz the re-spawning after crashing into a rock an inch high takes like 5 seconds!, thats enough time to become last place, and the monster trucks? when other ppl use them, they squish me like a frickin bug and when i use them, i cant squish anyone. but this game is still really fun and awesome!
Visually stunning but frustratingly tedious single player mode

Summary: Most racing games are the same, learn the controls, memorize the tracks, practice using different vehicles and learn to utilize each one. This one is no different and the terrain is stunning to look at when racing, but it doesn't make up for the really hard AI in the later levels and the loose controls while little rocks and bits of a fence can send the vehicle to a tumbling halt.
Summary: I borrowed this game from a friend and was considering purchasing it. This game has wonderful vehicles and amazing graphics. The multi-player has plenty of people actively playing the game. However, as the games difficulty ratchets up from moderate to near-impossible. This is the point where, if you are honest, the game really has no resemblance of fun. The basic problem is that the game uses rubber-banding AI.
Conclusion: This game is great fun to start off with but becomes frustrating very quickly! The graphics are excellent and the course design is superb. Racing against friends is also great fun. The main festival mode starts off very well with nice races and good battles between yourself and the CPU racers, however, in the latter part of the festival, the races are virtually impossible to win.
