Summary: this game is alright with great looking enviroments cool cars awsome carnage that happens while you drive but there is just too much packed into this game to be really enjoyable like the last 2 motorstorm games were.
Summary: Despite many environmental hazards and frequent explosions, MotorStorm: Apocalypse seems to have lost the chaotic atmosphere of its predecessors. I feel that the tracks are at fault in this case.
Summary: As a fan of this franchise I was looking forward to this game with out doubt. All said and done I just don't find it near as fun as the first two games. The setting is fun and the environment activity is amazing.
Summary: I enjoyed the Motorstorm: Pacific Rift but two things stopped it from being a keeper: the repetitive gameplay, and the fact that it had 66 trophies, many of which where based on online play which becomes a wasteland a couple of months after release.
Summary: To put it simply, the 3D is just not right. Since this is a PS3 title, the resolution will drop from 1080p to 720p when 3D is enabled. Now while this might work awesomely for titles such as Motorstorm 3D Rift, it just cannot handle Apocalypse in the same way.
Summary: I have no complaints about this game, but the simple fact is that it doesn't live up to the high standards set for it by MS and MSPR. This game is a lot of fun, the story mode was enjoyable, though the motion comics were cheesy, I found myself getting a good laugh out of them.
Summary: I'm not happy that they killed the engine sounds and over all looks of the game. I love cranking up the speakers when i play pacific rift and hearing the engine rumble my house. That is not the case with this game, even the monster trucks sound weak.
