Summary: This game is overall fair but the cons it has outnumbered the pros. You cannot unlock new vehicles offline which is rare for a PS3 game. This is unfair for those who dosen't have a PlayStation Account. There are little gaps and bumps that makes me wonder how I managed to crash. Like a small divider. I try to go to the middle by going over the edge and I crash, just like that.
Summary: I loved the first Motorstorm game so I bought this. 1st problem is that you can choose your car in single player which sucks because i'm not very good at using the motorbike. 2nd the cutscenes for this game are pointless. When I was watching them I thought that a immature 5 year old made it. 3rd Graphics, yes sure I admit the graphics for this game are ok but they don't even look anywhere near as good as Motorstorm Pacific Rift.
Summary: I got this game as part of the PS+ subscription and at this price its definitely worth it. In my opinion best Motorstorm since the first one, great graphics, great gameplay and great 3D gaming. Games like these are why the PS3 is best for gaming. Pros:- Graphics are amazing. Gameplay is not bad. Cons:- Can't select what vehicle I want to use Festival is rather short.
Summary: This is nowhere near as good as the previous two games. The art direction was gone cartoony, and there is a naff story mode. You now collect coins like a crappy kids game. The graphics are borderline average - compared to Pacific Rift they are embarrassing. The gameplay has been diluted and dumbed down, and i can only describe the overall experience as annoying. Avoid. Do yourself a favour and pick up the other two games if you haven't already.
Summary: As others have said before this is not Motorstorm. I love the Motorstorm franchise,it was one of the reasons i bought a PS3. What is with the story ? Why can't you choose your vehicle ? Long loading times. I can't tell you how disappointed I am with this release. Think they spent too long on the 3d side of the game and forgot about gameplay. If you want a great racer buy Need For Speed Hot Pursuit. Never thought I would diss Motorstorm but its a big thumbs down from me.
Summary: Just got this today after playing for an few hours IT IS NOT MOTORSTORM. It's a cartoon version of split second but without you being able to set off the explosions. The tracks look very good loads of different ways to complete a track, each lap is different. Vehicles typical motorstorm drivable clumsy but great fun at the same time. It is a very fast paced game and half the time you don't even know what our where you're going.
Summary: I had been looking forward to playing this game from the moment I completed Pacific Rift. I'm a big fan of Motorstorm and was excited by the thought of racing in the new location - a huge city being torn apart by the effects of an apocalypse. Surely, you'd think, this would be the ideal location to set the new game. Motorstorm perfection. In many ways, it is. Racing through a city at 150mph as an earthquake strikes is an exhilarating experience.
