Has any of them actually ridden a real bike???

P. Litorovich, Amazon
16 September 2010
  • Summary: OMG. They actually did it. I tried their demo version a year ago and back then people already were complaining how bad it was. Numerous people wrote to their designer team telling them to redo the game. Well they didn't listen and deserved what they wanted. Such a horrible game.

What a Shame!

Gads, Amazon
2 August 2010
  • Summary: As a huge fan of MotoGP '08, I was really excited for this game to come out. It all sounds good on paper, being able to choose everything from team managers to sponsors, etc. After a few min of playing I realized that this was nothing like the old game I came to love.

Worst Motorcycle Game Ever!!!

Gregory, Amazon
26 April 2010
  • Summary: This game is embarrassingly BAD! I am a big fan of the MotoGP 08 game. It is unbelievable that anyone at Capcom and MotoGP could endorse this garbage. The graphics and sound effects remind me of the primitive PS1 and PS2 video games from years ago. This game should be recalled. Do not buy this game.

What a disappointment!!

Dan-o, Amazon
2 April 2010
  • Summary: MotoGP 09/10 is a complete disappointment after waiting for months for the release. I thought MotoGP 08 was good and as close to real as I have seen before. It could only get better, right? WRONG. Big step backward to cheesy arcade play with techno music again. Physics and graphics are lacking too.

Piece of Crap! Selling it in ebay ASAP

Hector Alejandro Mejia, Amazon
25 March 2010
  • Summary: Worst Moto GP game ever. Bike handling feels SO unrealistic. When the guy falls off from the motorcycle or if the bike gets off the track it is very unrealistic. It is very hard to fall even if you are doing stupid things or getting off the track.

User Review

Adam, Metacritic
19 March 2010
  • Summary: Cartoony barbie & ken style graphics, no option to change laps (3 LAPS ONLY!!!), no mappable or customizable controls, no hands on the handlebars in cockpit view, all bikes sound the same - like a lawnmower...I could go on and on... This is such a huge step back for MotoGP games.

Moto GP 09-10

Philbert-e, Amazon
11 May 2010
  • Summary: This is a classic case of backward development. Take a fairly good game that could do with a few improvements and ruin the good bits without addressing any of the areas that were lacking. All you are really gaining is the new liveries but in the process you are discarding all the good game play.

Going 20 steps backwards

R. Goodbourn, Amazon
10 May 2010
  • Summary: I had the game literally for one day! Capcom have really screwed up this time! They changed from Milestone to Monumental to develop the game and went in the worst direction from Simulation in 2008 to rubbish arcade in this one!

DO NOT BUY

Mrs. D. Steele, Amazon
10 May 2010
  • Summary: For me giving this 1 star is generous, the controls are fiddely and the menu is like that on a ps1 menu. it is also very childish. don't buy it and thank yourself lucky you didn't waste your money!

Going backwards

rubenxaus11, Amazon
10 May 2010
  • Summary: Huge disappointment. Moto GP 07 for PS2 was a great game as was the SBK 08 for PS2. SBK 09 seems pretty good too, I'm just getting to grips with it. This game is a huge step backwards from any of those titles with very little realism or feel.
