Summary: I got '08 after reading reviews that '14 was a let down and I have to say I am glad I stayed with '08. I have not played '14 in person but after seen game play on youtube views, I feel '08 is a lot better in terms of graphics, lag and real world physics.
Summary: If you're like me - love motorcycle racing, actually know what MotoGP is (not motogR, like another reviewer said), and don't come expecting this to be the two wheel version of GT5 - you will have fun with this game.
Summary: Once you get a hang of it, this game is not that much different than the PS2 versions of it. I mean yes, I loved Namco's versions better than Capcom's but this game steals some Namco feel. The real fun is online, and there are usually always people online.
Summary: MotoGP 08 brings a new dimension to the series inasmuch as, in career mode, you have to start at 125cc level and gather Championship points to develop your bike and attract bigger and better teams' offers for future seasons.
