Summary: This is a great port the character models are a bit unrefined and only noticeable when doing the intros to the fight. The 60 fps on the vita is butter smooth and feels as though it is locked and the "gimmick" touch controls actually add value to the game by simply pressing the corner for X-rays which is very easy to do while fighting. PS* The online for this game is up and working so the gamespy shutdown did not affect the game.
Summary: I haven't bought and mortal kombat game in a good while so I was happy to see all the changes put into this one. Tons of characters and a role playing/story mode for when you get bored of just fighting and want some background on the characters. I recommend this to everyone. The only thing I could say I don't like about this is the graphics could have been better compared to other ps vita games.
Summary: I've been playing MK here and there for 20 years (I know it's sad). Countless quarters were flushed into the MKII arcade as a kid, blisters were developed from playing too much MKIII on SNES, etc. I never expected such an awesome and complete game to be released years after the series had faded away. The storyline mode is great and really gets you interested. Love the graphics. Just a terrific game that has a new feel but retains all characters and their moves.
