Summary: This is a pack in Bonus with the Kollecter's edition and Tournament edition. It is a great download costume for Ermac. The retail of the Kollector's edition is $99 USD and Tournament is $149 USD. The bonus skin is not worth close to half the cost of the Kollecter's edition.
Summary: The buttons are positioned kind of weird and its hard to get used to it when the usual stick has the 3 or 2 buttons lined up then the other row underneath. The base and everything is very good quality.
Summary: This is not worth the asking price. Why pay such a high amount for content that was meant to be free. Wait, the content will become available at a later date for less than $10 USD. Don't waste money on this if over $15 not worth the price.
Summary: Mortal Kombat was never really about that stuff like balanced game mechanics or competitive play. It always was more show than anything else. I don't think anyone played MK in the arcades to flaunt their gaming skills, rather they just wanted to win matches for an opportunity to pull off the fatalities and with MK2 and MK3, the stage fatalities and other "hidden" moves. Those are the elements that made the game fun and interesting..
Good graphics, less blood, and simplified controls
10 January 2010
Summary: The game has good graphics and the characters have good moves. However, the controls have been really simplified to where you can do the same sequence of moves for every character to get a special power action. The gore of previous Mortal Kombat games has been decreased dramatically. Blood does splatter as much and as far as other games. The game has around 20 characters total. After a while you can get bored of the characters and their moves.
Summary: I was really looking forward to this game but the fatalaties are the most genric iv ever seen. Im not sure if they removed the violence because of dcs involvement but it was a huge let down. The fighting is basic and there arent enough characters.
Summary: This game could have been so much more. Any game that features a bunch of Justice League heroes is going to get my attention, and when I saw clips and previews of this game, I thought it was going to be fantastic. However, I think the lawyers and busybodies must have had too much of a say in the final version of MK vs. DC.
Pros: Smooth and detailed graphics. DC characters' moves and abilities are well-done. Power moves are a lot of fun (Superman's are my personal favorites). Lets you fight with some of the coolest super heroes in history.
Cons: Single-player story mode is very short and fairly un-interesting. Dubious and poorly-developed storyline. Voice acting is a bit cheesy and retains the subtle and often unintentionally funny dialogue oddities resulting from the vagaries of language translation--though not nearly as noticeable as, say, Soul Caliber IV. Finishing moves are dumbed-down and have lost much of the panache of the original MK idea. It's hard to swallow the idea that someone like the Joker coul...
ADULT GAMERS WILL BE DISSAPOINTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
19 December 2008
Summary: PROS: Play as your favorite DC Comic book characters in a Mortal Kombat style fighting game. I must say this about the only game so far that is fun to play as Superman and Batman. CONS: I really think the T for Teens rating hurt this game for adult gamers. The fatalities are not as enjoyable as the other Mortal Kombat games. The voice acting is filled with an incredible amount of cheese. RECOMMENDATION: I would recommend this game for the younger generation.
