Summary: I love the Mortal Kombat games, grew up playing them in the Arcades and at home on my mega drive system. Playstation etc...So when i saw these for cheap it was an insta-buy. However i am very disappointed in the response time of the controls.
Summary: Not too bad, I had issues with the sound while playing MK1 and it doesn't detect my logitic gamepad that well it reverses the Y axis so up goes down while down goes up so only a Xbox wired controller works but not good for fighting games.
Summary: The buttons are positioned kind of weird and its hard to get used to it when the usual stick has the 3 or 2 buttons lined up then the other row underneath. The base and everything is very good quality.
Summary: Take this into consideration, I don't really like fighting games. They don't mentally stimulate me, and they don't fit into my nature. They are fun with friends at an arcade and that's where it ends. Short bursts, I invest time, and I find them depressing.
Summary: Me and my brother played the Mortal Kombat Trillogy game for the N64 a long time ago and it was a great showing all 3 MK games were put together on one collection. Now, I heard about a newer side of Mortal Kombat and turn it into an Arcade Kollection to download on the Playstation Network.
Summary: I also should point out that there is NOTHING as far as any extras to be found here. no trailers, no interviews, no cool little bonus extras... pressing select gives you the special moves and finishers, as well as some combo strings for umk3, but that's as far as this game goes as far as extras.
Summary: This is a pack in Bonus with the Kollecter's edition and Tournament edition. It is a great download costume for Ermac. The retail of the Kollector's edition is $99 USD and Tournament is $149 USD. The bonus skin is not worth close to half the cost of the Kollecter's edition.
Summary: This is not worth the asking price. Why pay such a high amount for content that was meant to be free. Wait, the content will become available at a later date for less than $10 USD. Don't waste money on this if over $15 not worth the price.
Summary: Mortal Kombat was never really about that stuff like balanced game mechanics or competitive play. It always was more show than anything else. I don't think anyone played MK in the arcades to flaunt their gaming skills, rather they just wanted to win matches for an opportunity to pull off the...
