Solid game that could have used more thought in it's overall design.

Summary: It's nice to just chill out on the couch and play Monopoly without counting money. You can play regular game with AI, but the other game style requires 4 players. Will have to say that the repetative narration gets old FAST and is a major slowdown of the game. The change rules ability is pretty flexible, yet there should be an option that if you land on a property it's able to just simply be passed up, instead you have to buy or run an auction.
Summary: I've always been a fan of Monopoly and have purchased most of the official computer game adaptations of the game. It's been a while since a good one was released so I was excited to see this come out. Over all, this is a good game, with pretty good and challenging AI characters. The game offers more than just the traditional game, by including both the Monopoly and Richest editions, as well as mini-games if you're short on time.
Classic game, good graphics, but is too easy-going for my pace/style..

Summary: I'm a monopoly fanatic and play online so I bought the game to avoid having to go online--it's a much slower-paced game and you have to be very patient to get anywhere. I, personally, don't like how long it takes to get anywhere or do anything; it's just how the game was designed that I don't like. But if you have time and patience it's pretty good otherwise.
Summary: The monopoly game for ps3 is an average game. I was expecting a lot more. I am a little dissapointed. It is a step above pulling out the board game itself, but not by much. The creators could have put a lot more into it but they took an easy out.
Summary: This Monopoly game is not like the original game or the one for PS2. In this game you have to action the property if you do not purchase it yourself. My husband and I have figured out we can just let the time expire on the auction clock and if no bids are made we can move on. This makes the game drag and last forever. The PS2 version is much better!
Summary: I'm not a real fan of Monopoly but I bought it for my iPhone and really started to enjoy it. I thought bc I enjoyed it on the iPhone, it would just be that much better on a game system with a 46" screen, Nope!! The iphone App is so much better!! I've played with others on both and they agree ... The PS3 game is boring!! I mean, you shake the iPhone to roll the dice ... You stop shaking it when you want to drop the roll. PS3, you push a button. How exciting!!
Excerpt: "== Monopoly == Monopoly has been around for a while now and the original game came out with a fold up cardboard board with the different monopoly monies in paper form and the small metal charactors such as a dog, hat or shoe. This game to me is a little like mustard as you either love it or hate it and to be honest I don't really mind this game but anybody who plays this game will know that the length of the game can vary and I have been stuck in ...
